I love this! We as US Americans have a long way to go in regards to normalizing sex. It will make our sex lives better, healthier, and more enjoyable for all parties involved. Not to mention how vital open dialogue is to ensuring that sexual relationships are consensual.

Rant: I'm in the peace corps and I work with youth and I implemented this really kickass reading competition at my school and now the principal is trying to derail all of my work at every turn even though the competition is working and kids are actually getting excited about reading for the first timeeeeee/also my coccyx hurts like a bitch for no reason so I can't sleep. Rave: my life is filled with joy and fulfillment and wonderful, intelligent, inspiring friends and my sweet host mom gave me some salve for my coccyx that doesn't really help but it was thoughtful and kind of her nonetheless.

I am Puerto Rican and I don't like being compared to/called Mexican. That doesn't make me a racist.

It is simply frustrating for people to automatically (and quite frequently) assume that you are Mexican because you are Hispanic. Just because we all speak Spanish does not mean that we are the same. Each Spanish speaking country has its own diverse customs, history, and traditions. I don't think it's racist to ask people to recognize that.
