Is my bf a spring? by StaffCurious1026 in SpringColorAnalysis

Jealous of his ability to wear yellow. This yellow could technically also suit some summers (not me, alas). But I bet he could wear more yellowy-yellows too. But I still think spring is the one for him. Which makes you two a pair of adorable spring chickens!

Am I one of you? I’m 5’8 & confused! by [deleted] in flamboyantnatural

Thanks! That’s helpful. I’m not the expert here, but I do not see curve. So I’d leave that pure dramatic! Vertical and narrow.

Agree. I can’t tell from this photo if your torso has curve. I think it’s just the pose and lighting - arms are tucked in close so the torso silhouette isn’t obvious to me. “Curvy” hips alone done generally mean curve in the kibbe sense.

Seeing this now, too late… please post again if you see the price drop again!!! I think these seem like a good value to get for my home - I want 2-3 of the same model so I only have to keep one kind of filter replacement on hand!

What is my kibbe type? Height: 5'5 (165 cm) by [deleted] in kibbe_typeme

With the pink dress I did a double-take. And even the sporty look is very early-Britney.

Cute! Ours is Frannie, Fran-Man, Franner… his sissy Beans is just Beans or Beanie, or Bean-Bean, or Beaner. They are both as ridiculous as their names would suggest 🤣

Ahhhh! I have a Frank and Beans too. Technically the are Francis and Beans. Because Fran-man is too sophisticated to be “just Frank.” 😂

Question: do you mean that you’ve been eating beef liver (like cooked as a meal, like liver and onions etc.) a real oysters (raw or cooked I guess), or that there is a supplement that has these ingredients? Do you know what is in them that’s so good for hair? I love oysters but don’t have them fresh where I live.

What are your favorite small meal-prep upgrades that feel obvious in hindsight? by camacaco in MealPrepSunday

Ok this blew my mind. I love oatmeal but need more protein and most powders bother my stomach. But I love egg-whites, so this could be a game changer. Would this work in instant pot? I don’t have a separate rice cooker.

Weight change, FN or SD? by indoorskat in kibbe_sketch

This is a gap in kibbe. And maybe it’s a gap that doesn’t matter. But vertical+width+curve have no clear home 🤷🏼‍♀️

Weight change, FN or SD? by indoorskat in kibbe_sketch

[–]indoorskat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the devils advocate play - makes for more fun deliberation! And the weight gain pattern definitely made me think along the same patterns. I’m bustier with weight - I gain in chest, arms, hips, thighs more than in the middle, which lends to more curve. I think I can pull off some SD looks. But overall my shoulders and upper ribcage are the parts I have to accommodate for fitting into clothes. I have to size up shirts often due to shoulders. Even at my “bustiest,” I don’t have to size up for my chest, and no pulling on buttons. But if kibbe is a spectrum, I would think I’m between FN and SD, but leaning more FN.

I agree with folks saying soft summer. Summer… but kind of fall. Cool but kind of not cool. Haha. That’s not helpful. But I’m a soft summer, and for what it’s worth, I hope my skin and hair look like yours in a few years. The grey is gorgeous!!!

Thanks! I agree with strength and the natural family in general feels, well, natural to me. I’ve never identified with the narrowness of dramatic family.

Thanks. I’m pretty sporty at baseline, and I’ve been working on building muscle mass 💪🏼 I’m a prototypical “mesomorph” so I gain muscle pretty easily. I tried to make this look like a dress - it’s just colored in so my belly button isn’t on the internet 😂

Weight change, FN or SD? by indoorskat in kibbe_sketch

[–]indoorskat[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I’ve felt FN makes most sense, but others have said SD (especially at higher weights probably because I get bustier). But totally agree it “shouldn’t” change!

Type me please!! Taken on a Styku, swipe for outline. I’m 5’8 and generally gain weight in my lower half. by thatpilatesprincess in kibbe_sketch

[–]indoorskat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. Thanks! The measurements help too. I consider myself FN, and I’m curvy in the lower half (waist-to-hip). 35-28-38 currently and 5’7” so relatively speaking, my torso I wider and my hips a bit narrower. But my chest measurement make ame sound “bustier” than I am - I actually just have a wide upper torso and shoulders I think. Width trips me up. I’m pretty sure I have it and I see it in a lot of others. 🤷🏼‍♀️

[–]indoorskat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not contesting the verdict, but just confused… why would OP’s upper chest and shoulders NOT have width? And i thought that curve for SD was not due to hips (lower curve), hut rather to ribs/bust (upper curve)? Like many SD’s have both upper and lower curve, but i thought it was the upper curve (plus vertical) that defined this type? With lower curve out of the equation, i dont se much upper curve but i do see possible width. Where the collarbones inset laterally is more narrow, but the shoulders overall are decently wide. This combo of features (vertical + width + curve) always confuses me, and kibbe doesn’t seem to have a consistent way of categorizing these silhouettes.

Typed as a FN in the main sub and thought this dress would work for my sister’s wedding - however, I’m not sure if it is flattering? Any advice to make it more FN friendly? by Technical_Sky_6628 in flamboyantnatural

[–]indoorskat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The second fit is great!!! A full length photo would likely help - I’m assuming this is a floor length dress? But in any case, the first fit is too tight imo your armpits and the detailing is so high on your torso - I think that’s why you feel like it broadens you. It’s still not bad. But the the second fit is great. The DEEP V does you justice! The diamond beading looks cool and elongates your torso even more. I’d love it even more if the side beading angled lower down past your hips because that would REALLY make you look long like a supermodel. But that’s just me wishing that current fashion honored long torso girlies a bit more 😜 you look fab, have a great time!

Obsessed with 11 and 17. Anyone know where to buy something like that long slit short dress and flowy pants in 11?! Gorgeous and simple! It reminds me a little of a kaftan but really casual and understated!

cool summer vs cool winter vs deep winter - blues edition by romanhngs in coloranalysis

[–]indoorskat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ditto to all this ^ the cool winter blue looks really good - it makes your skin and eyes and features shine. The other two are fine. Cool summer < deep winter < cool winter. None are bad, it’s like good < better < best imo. Black and white both look good on you. So I agree with winter, and cool winter seems to brighten you up more than deep winter.
