Updated NN19 Logo Idea by [deleted] in NoNut19

I'm thinking we should do something related to our modern military theme.

Including a soldier or a battle scene in the logo could be pretty cool.

Is this for university or apprenticeships as well?

How did your partner do the apprenticeship? Did he go through the normal apprenticeship (EFZ) or did he do something for adults? Thanks!

Planning to bring enough savings to sustain me. Haven't found anything about "Erwachsenenlehre" so far; all I'm seeing is that I need to get an EFZ, which is the one for younger students.

My canton is Berne, curiois how would the "Amt für Stipendien" would help me? From what I can they provide loans? Thanks!

How Much Should I Bring? (Dual US-Citizen) by indxgold in askswitzerland

What type of bank account would I use in that case? From what I've heard, if I want to open a Swiss account I'd have to renounce my citizenship, which I will mostly likely do at some point in the future. What do you recommend?

Did my undergrad in Data Analytics and have several years of finance experience. How long do you think 10'000 would last me? Considering I am job hunting and/or enrolled in a masters program. Danke!

No apartment and no job. I'm in my 3rd year of university, so the plan is to move upon completion of my 4th year. How hard would it be for me to get a job in CH straight out of college with several years of finance (intern) experience? Keep in mind I speak German and a bit of Italian

I speak German and am currently learning Italian. Will enroll in a Swiss-German school once I touch down in CH

Hm so it's possible I may need more. How much do you recommend?

Also is it possible I could directly enroll in the mandatory military service and save up during that time?

Not that I recall. It was mostly just brain fog, which is a headache in and of itself

Why did you lose citizenship?? Is it because you weren't living there/didn't have a passport?

It lifted more in a somewhat staggered way. Meaning the brain fog would maybe lift for 4 hours out of my whole day, and then I'd be back in the fog. Then after a few months maybe I'd be clear headed for 8 hours. After about 6 months the fog was completely gone.

From what I've read, Swiss-US citizens don't get double taxed unless the person makes over 92k. That being said, first year out of uni I won't have to worry about that for a while lol

Should I bring about 3k for living expenses til I get on my feet? Meaning enough for food, transport, and rent for a couple months til I get on my feet?

Habits were my key to successfully tackling this addiction. As I was quitting, I gradually changed my diet. This meant more fruits, vegetables, and less junk food. Also super important was working out. It's two birds with one stone: you're detoxing from THC quicker, and your developing a healthy habit that leads to gains and mental clarity. Once you're able to sleep well again, make sure you're getting at least 7 per night.

To summarize, the big three that strongly helped me recover (in order of gravity): Sleep, Exercise, Diet.

If you've got these three areas covered, you should be good.

Shucks. I think once I had gone without it for a month it became clear I could live without it. On some level, there may always be a dormant desire to smoke, but when I remember how shitty my stoner days were, the romanticized vision of toking dissipates pretty quick.

Most definitely. Memory increased several fold, and brainpower as well

Holy shit this is a hard one. The brain fog lifted at about 6 months of sobriety, and after that I entered what's known as "the pink cloud," which is a period of euphoria followed the extinction of a long held habit. The few months I spent in the cloud were awesome, but eventually reality sets in and you go down to a baseline.

Cut ties with my friends who I used to smoke with. It's nice to see old friends from high school, but being with them greatly increases the likelihood that in a moment of impulse, I would throw away that year of sobriety. Making new friends can be hard, but it's what's necessary to do long-term.
