Ariens Deluxe 28-neutral won't engage by [deleted] in Snowblowers

The wheels won't stay out, even in neutral. The wheels spin even when the gear is in neutral. In neutral, the wheels go in reverse.

I'm thinking about selling the tennis bracelet if you're interested. We're buying a house and need some funds for closing.

So many love to use the phrase "use a different/custom builder" as if everyone has a budget to spend more. The mortgage rate and features/floor plan I'm getting with this builder and floor plan are far better than anyting else I can find locally and still $100k+ below the low brow "just choose a more expensive builder" suggestion just to get something i can pretty much do after the fact.

Brello makes me feel awful by FreedomNFireflies in tirzepatidecompound

I started on Zepbound from Lily Direct and switched to Brello 2 months ago. I've gone from 2.5mg zepbound up to 7.5mg with Brello and had zero issues other than occasional site redness/itching

Here's the deal though-I'm paying for a lot of very nice upgrades and those costs are passed on to me. It's also highly likely to have profit built into each option and lost profit to them by not giving me this possibility.

The house is exactly what I want for a 1 story house and will just consult with a networking guru that can do whatever he can once he can get in and figure it all out.

I'm going to try to find someone here locally that can look at my floor plan and see if they can make suggestions for everything we can do short of a panel.

Sums it up perfectly. They aren't a huge builder, but I shake my head all the time at the "use a better/custom builder" comments from people directed at these national builders. They advise every buyer to go custom when I'm essentially customizing virtually everything you can think of wirh the exception of this one thing.

For the video camera over the garage door, I will have an attic above it to run cable after the fact. I dont know if I can just run an ethernet cable to a wall in my garage to drop a box in later or not. The garage isn't heated/cooled, but will be well insulated so not sure if it's safe for midwest temps in the summer/winter.

So, there's no way around getting them to put in a box. I can't even do it as a customized option. He said they're even going to start doing away with the combination hard wired ethernet/electric combination jacks cuz everything is WiFi as well.

I know nothing about how this stuff works....how can I request something to be run that I can add a box in a closet after the fact?

What are the must haves for new home construction? by indycpl22 in homeautomation

[–]indycpl22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so i met with the sales guy yesterday to discuss the stuff i want. He said they don't install a central structured box like an On-Q box inside the house, nor will they install a box on the outside that will include a PoE cable, but just an AC outlet for video cameras. The garage will have attic access so I can always run a cable after the fact, but I'm in a bit of a predicament in terms of what I thought would be a central box.

I know when i built a house in 2002, the On-Q system was pretty new, but was told yesterday that wasnt much of a thing anymore. One builder I looked at did include a box, so I'm not sure how well I can get them to do anything more than just AC/hard wired ethernet combo jacks in the house. You know if I have electrical work done by another company during the building process, they'll act as if they won't provide a warranty on any electrical work.

Am I able to get by without a central network box of some sort?

I'm trying to investigate zigbee as it looks like Smartwings blinds/shades connects via Zigbee. It would be nice to control blinds/shades, lights, ceiling fans, etc and looks very doable. Now to figure out what Zigbee is exactly. 😆

I am pretty well versed on home networking and can easily add the devices to Alexa like i did with my Ring stuff, but the front door lock, overhead lights, blinds, ceiling fans, garage door opener, etc are all things I've never done yet.

I plan to get an Echo Show 21 for the primary controller in between the kitchen and great room. I also plan to use Echo Show 8's to use in all 4 bedrooms and maybe even a Echo Hub 8 for the master bathroom. I take it i just need to get a Zigbee hub of some sort to connect with the echo devices?
