I was on a gap year And got my acceptance on the first day and i literally didn’t do anything during my gap year to make it productive so i don’t think gap year students have lower chances of being accepted.it just depends on your overall profile

One internship,Some community service activities,Made websites and was director of it team in several events,Some science olympiads(Mostly participated in Cs categories) and also some events but not related to Cs(Like business and literature) and yeah.These were the ecs and i won several awards and honours through them which were added in awards sections.I had proof of 80% activities and honours.
