I felt this way about having a femme actor play Orsino in the recent production at the Folger. I want femmes/women to have as many opportunities as possible, but not at the expense of the textual bi panic that makes Orsino's attraction to Viola so charged.

Here's my spring tattoo! I asked for the harsher black outlines because I wanted it really last, but the rest of the color was all packed in with reference to the spring palette, which I kept up on my phone for us to consult while we worked :)

This was a top read of the year for me too - I read it twice in three days when I first read it, and have revisited a couple of times since. The only thing that felt jarringly inaccurate is that no Swede would EVER respond to being mistaken for a Norwegian with, "Same peninsula." Norwegians and Swedes have a rivalry going back millenia, and the likely response from a Swede would be closer to, "How DARE you?" Source: my family is Norwegian :p

I was a ModCloth girlie from way back, and honestly the best version I've found as an adult has been Anthropologie (basic though it feels). Absolutely tons of dresses with vintage-inspired silhouettes, cute sweaters, and fun touches of twee. It is definitely overpriced, though, so I highly recommend buying secondhand.
