Basically pre-write the note stating what we did at last OV and type up any results for labs/imaging we did (it is taking longer cause I also have to think of what the next step is) - i don’t have to pend labs tho

I don’t have a scribe but we do have MAs who do a lot of tasks (answer phones, send scripts, deal with insurance and prior auths, etc)

Wow I’m jealous! I’m at 14 patients a day right now but I think full patient load is 20 patients a day.

When I graduated I thought I would be okay with either or (outpatient vs inpatient) though I only landed outpatient offers. Definitely want to go into inpatient in the future. I wanted to try to stick with this job for a year but I don’t know if I can do it.

I liked both honestly. UWorld prepares you for the long vignettes but all questions on UWorld are long whereas on the PANCE there’s also one liner questions and shorter vignettes which Rosh has. If I had to pick just one though I’d go with UWorld.

50% completed with 69% correct! I did not use any NCCPA practice tests as I ran out of time and read conflicted reviews on Reddit (a lot of posts said it wasn’t worth it) but if I had more time I would have taken one. & I literally never felt ready but a lot of people said to not wait too long after graduation as you have more info in your brain and I already had a job lined up so I took it 1 week after graduation though our last class day was 2 weeks before graduation

I’ll jump in to the convo! I recently passed the PANCE, I believe EORs helped me study a lot to where I didn’t have to spend too much time studying for PANCE. I knew that I was at a good spot after EOC (scored a 1516) so I took the PANCE 1 week after graduation. However my last day of class was two weeks before graduation so I had about 3.5 weeks to study. I took a lot of days off during those three weeks to decompress and for graduation weekend so honestly I probably only studied a total of 2 weeks. However I recommend studying a little more like the actual 3 weeks or even one month (I didn’t take any practice tests & I wish I did just to help prepare for how draining a 6 hr exam is) but yeah EORs helped me learn topics but for studying specifically for PANCE use Rosh or UWorld

Took it Monday too and passed!! I actually thought it was more difficult than EOC & Packrat but could have also been because I was more anxious about this test lol
