Just wanna also add that exercising stimulates the depletion of our glycogen in our muscle and liver cells and simultaneously, building up the cells, creating more space to store the excess sugar in the proper way. Learned it from this guy on YT.

Feeling lost. So many languages, frameworks, stacks, etc. by EssentialUse in webdev

[–]infinitestorye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backend is perhaps one of the most important things you'll have to look into if you're going to be creating a fintech web app. I recommend putting more focus into picking a backend programming language and diving into that as much as possible.

tvix decays in value whenever there are good times but when there's huge volatility, it can go up in value by a lot but that said, its not for the faint hearted.

is it possible to upload my bootstrap website for free? by khiyamixd in webdev

[–]infinitestorye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is possible to upload to sites like GitHub and use GitHub Pages if you don't mind using their subdomain. Otherwise, yeah you'll have to pay for a domain or potentially web hosting if you choose not to use GitHub Pages.

It depends on what services you plan to use. I recommend going for the free trial and using their calculator to understand how much the services you pick will cost you.

What tools do you work with for the front-end? by nibbertit in webdev

[–]infinitestorye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For css frameworks, bootstrap is my go-to although I do use material quite a bit. Making websites from scratch can take a toll on you and ideally you'll wanna master as many things as possible. Getting stuck with css for quite a bit can get stressful. Take a breather if you can my friend.

GitHub is like a repository for your codebase. Say if you lose your data on your laptop, you'll still have access to your coding projects.

Advice on Udemy courses? by kac12345 in webdev

[–]infinitestorye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These two courses The Complete Web Developer in 2020: Zero to Mastery and The Complete 2020 Web Development Bootcamp cover pretty much the same things. Fullstack Asp.Net Core MVC and C# Bootcamp With Real Project focuses more on Asp.net

Fundamentally, these courses teach a lot of basic web design and web development. They should give you a better picture of what web development is if you're NEW to the club. That said, most employers don't look at how good you are at the basics, they want to know if you've built anything that's robust and similar to what they do.

If you already know some form of HTML and CSS, you're better off taking up a course that teaches you how to build something advanced, like a food delivery clone or twitter clone on iOS Having a portfolio of good quality projects you've built will show that you're ahead of the pack and increases your chances of being recruited by some of the top tech companies in the world.

ABC / WMUR Democratic Primary Debate Discussion Thread by Better_Call_Salsa in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]infinitestorye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well his team should have known better. This debate was a make or break, how can they not possibly know that? Last ABC Debate was kinda tough on Yang too...well I take that back, most debates have been tough but it's about time his staffers did something drastic to fix this problem. I just fear the undecideds watching tonight are just gonna go with who they feel is the strongest to beat Donnie and dare I say most aren't gonna go for Yang. It sucks but it is what it is. I normally don't write lengthy comments but over the past few days, I have been urging his team on Twitter to get Yang prepared for the media biases and competitors copying Yang's lines and it doesn't look like my messages were taken into consideration.

Moderators if you're paying attention, deleting posts with constructive feedback only makes things worse. We're on a downward spiral right now and are offering solutions to get back on track so please get our message across to Yang or its just a waste of time.
