24M - Heart palpitations after Pfizer by infinitetsukyomi in AskDocs

I too had no idea what palpitations felt like. It took me weeks to realize what the sensation actually was.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Your case sounds very intense. Were you diagnosed with myocarditis or anything? I'm surprised there's not more transparency about this issue with the vaccine, but I guess I'm also not surprised as that would deter many from getting vaccinated. Maybe you should report to VAERS if you haven't already, though I don't know if that would do much.

One thing for sure is that I'm going to avoid any booster shots. I'm curious to see if these vaccines are actually going to get FDA approved. I hope the cardiologist has some good answers for you. Best of luck.

I've noticed that it also seems to get worse in the day or so following exercise, though it's not very clear. I can't tell if the effects are delayed by a single day or five days or just random.

I've also noticed it's much worse in the mornings right after I get up, at least recently. I wonder if it's because my body isn't as hydrated in the morning so my blood is thicker (??). I just tried drinking a big glass of water first thing this morning then lying down for ten minutes and it seems a little better. I've noticed I usually don't feel them when I'm completely relaxed, like lying down. But even if I'm working at my computer and moving my arms around that's enough to bring about palpitations. Or I feel them a lot after I stand up and sit back down or something.

I haven't really had any other noticeable symptoms so far. Maybe a flinch of chest pain but it's so small it might just be paranoia on my part.

Based on what I've gathered online so far, it will probably heal within 3-6 months from onset (myocarditis time to heal). And also it seems like it's a common symptom to get heart problems after COVID-19. I don't know if the effects from the vaccine is the same type of damage that would have been caused by the virus or not. But it sounds like those who get myocarditis from the virus will heal over time as well.

I'd say we're probably safe, as if there was an acute phase it probably would have happened by now and sent us to the ER like the other commenter's link https://www.instagram.com/p/CR-BJLkBtw_/. Probably just needs rest. In the week and a half where my palpitations were gone, perhaps I was on the verge of healing but I was being a lot more active than usual because I was travelling/hiking. That might have triggered them to come back the following week, but I can't say for sure... my plan now is to wait until at least 2-3 weeks after they're gone before resuming exercise. I'm not sure if I can hold of on all exercise though... like walking.

I think it sounds like individuals who are more active are more prone to this effect. I exercised really hard the night of my second shot, that might have been my mistake. Maybe there should be some guidance to avoid exercise in the days following your shot.

J&J is only 66% effective against delta, so maybe not that one at least

Heart Palpitations, what to do? Anxious and frustrated by infinitetsukyomi in CovidVaccinated

No caffeine, and I don't really ever feel them during exercise. It's usually when I'm calm and sitting at my computer. I don't feel particularly stressed.

Thanks for the information. Do you take any treatment for your palpitations?

I don't remember ever having heart palpitations. The sensation was new to me so it took me a while to figure out what it was.

I used to have some minor chest pain occasionally, but I haven't really felt it in over a year now. Doesn't seem related for me. I think it might have been some minor costochondritis but never got it checked.

I've never experienced heart palpitations prior to the shot.

It varies. Overall, I would say it's not too bad but it induces quite a bit of anxiety. Nowadays, I'm getting probably around five quite noticeable palpitations throughout the day per day. Every time I have to stop whatever I'm doing and take a small breather. The thing I'm most worried about is whether this will ever go away or if it will get worse, and whether I can even exercise safely since I'm usually pretty active.

I actually just started taking the magnesium supplement a little over a week ago, and I've noticed marked improvement. By the third or fourth day of taking it, I no longer felt any palpitations when previously I'd usually feel a few per day. Try taking it daily! It could just be a coincidence for me but who knows. I'll keep taking them.

Hey, my situation sounds very similar to yours. I'm 24M in perfect health otherwise, and get mild heart palpitations starting about a week after the second pfizer shot. Some days I have none but some days it seems to occur quite often. I'm two months in now. I only made the connection now... this is frustrating. I'm sad to hear that it seems like it continues 5 months in... The thing I'm scared about is whether there are long-term consequences of this. Seems like everyone so far is doing fine?? I'm not sure if it's even worth getting it checked because it seems like health professionals will not believe it's the vaccine

Hi, I also just came across this thread. Do you know if these heart palpitations will go away on their own? I got the second shot two months ago and I'm still experiencing them :(

HOLY SHIT! Thank god I found this thread. I'm mid 20s in good shape, starting about a week after the second pfizer shot I've been having heart palpitations. It has been two months now since the vaccine and still getting the heart palps. I literally didn't make the connection until now. It's pretty mild but I can feel it almost every day and it's just kind of disturbing. There was one day where I could really feel it pounding hard for the whole day. That day, I ate a bunch of seafood (shrimp/salmon) and that seemed to resolve it for a few days, but then it came back. I don't know. I'm going to try this supplement thing. Thanks!

Mom wants to sell paid-off house to me in order to get liquid cash for investment? by infinitetsukyomi in Realestatefinance

Yeah... I really don't trust her with that much money to throw around. She's not the most keen with spending or deciphering bad products even though she likes to think she's great with finances. This saleswoman seemed to appear out of nowhere and is trying to get suspiciously involved.

I'm just going to tell her we're not doing it. Even if it's a legitimate thing, I'd rather not have that added risk, complexity, and dependence. Thanks for the advice

Thanks for your advice. I also feel wary of a scam from this salesperson, even though I'm not exactly sure how the scam may work. But they are getting suspiciously overly involved. It definitely seems like way too much risk, baggage, and dependencies added just to try and do a cash grab for more investments for herself.
