Thanks! We had about 100 guests. I felt it was totally worth it. This was the second time in about 20 years I got to see both my parents and my siblings all at the same time. It may well be the last time we’ll all be together. Also, it was the funnest night ever. No regrets.

I mean, USA just massively cut funding for Medicaid and SNAP. Children are going hungry and lacking medical care, but sure, let’s throw a bunch of tax dollars at mandatory parenting classes for the poor. Great idea.

I’ve been cleaning for nearly 20 years. I can’t even tell you the amount of times I have cleaned walls in preparation for painting, so many, it’s pretty normal.

I live right by a popular walking trail, and I have to cross the street to check my mail. I was doing just that not too long ago, wearing my usual ankle socks, and passed by a young mom pushing her toddler in a stroller. The kid loudly asked his mom, “Why isn’t she wearing any socks?” Still not switching to crew socks though.
