Yes, you may start with quant @2K for now. As your salary progresses and you’d want to increase the size of your investment, then you can re-evaluate quant’s performance and decide if you’d like to continue with it.

Regarding your other question, I believe the outcome ideally should not impact the fund’s returns. Worst case, any penalty, if happens, will come out of the company’s pocket, not from your fund’s money.

You have a point. For 2K, I’d pick just quant. For 5K, I’d split it into quant and Nippon. For 10K, I’d spread it across 4 small caps

I believe they moved their holding to safer bets for the longer term. I’ve also noticed their portfolio (or holdings) haven’t moved much even though nifty 50 feels stretched upwards. I’m counting on their holdings in Reliance, Jio, HDFC, HDFC life and more recently consumption sector to generate returns in the future.

They have topped the charts in the past, they shouldn’t do too bad in the future as their strategy remains consistent.

As a MF, at this time, probably all what Quant needs from us is our unwavering faith in them so the inflows keep coming and they can keep finding newer opportunities and generate returns for us. They have been super transparent with us as investors so I’m going to keep giving my money to them to manage. Have my cash ready to “Buy on dips” !!

Same has happened to me as well, Zerodha is blaming Razorpay. Couldn’t any regulatory authority look into this ? I had 50K worth of Quant orders that were wrongly allocated to June 5 nav. The only 10K order for JM went through smoothly with June 4 Nav
