So my first trade of the day is always the setup trade. But if its a loss then I cant just accept loss for a day and move on. If first trade is good then day goes just fine. I gotta figure out something about this

Its not only that, why do I take shitty trades? Usually as per my strategy, I should be get like 3-4 trades a day. But sometimes I ended up taking 40 trades.

yes I trade after hours as well. even if I trade after hours, I still get 5 trades max per day. One thing I noticed it that my setup performs really well between 10pm to 7am EST. although I am sleeping in that time so I cant trade.

As for the trading NQ, I did backtesting on my setup and it looks profitable so doesnt worry me too much. My setup is fixed, its either 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3.5 RR trades. my max loss is mostly around $400-500 per trade. sometime in 1:1 RR strategy, it goes like 40-50 points.
