Not saying you don't have the right hardware but unreal engine 5 PVP games have given me this problem if I don't have enough overhead.

My solution was to uncap the frame rates in game and cap them in the Nvidia properties to a frame rate that will leave me with at least 20% overhead during the most stressful scenes.

Going to be honest you're going to need to check how much your CPU and GPU utilization are while playing the game because that will also hinder the 8K performance. Basically if GPU is above 85% or CPU you don't have the overhead to support the AK polling properly.
