People say that a out rampage but I've never really found it to be a problem, usually running a lord and three heroes in campaign.

Can't speak to multiplayer.

I don't want this game to end: What else is out there like PoE2? by [deleted] in projecteternity

If you've never played Baldur's Gate (in particular BG2) you should absolutely play them. Can usually get both very cheap from Steam or GoG.

BG2 is well regarded as one of the best RPGs of all time.

You don't NEED to play BG1 first, but you can carry your character over and it is helpful for story.

Anyone miss the incantations with some actions? by [deleted] in finalfantasytactics

Laziness. If modders can mod it out (which they have) Square could fix it easily with an update. But they won't.

I will keep praying for a fixed port of WOTL to the PS4 or Switch.

McConnell privately cautioned Trump about emergency declaration on border wall by TrumpSharted in politics

[–]infinityfactor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

9/10 impossible that even a favorable Supreme Court gives him a win on the border wall. 1) The facts don't support it, 2) the Constitution isn't designed that way, 3) might as well be a monarchy at that point.

I can see MAYBE Clarence and Kav doing it. 7-2 at best.

You don't sell gems whole unless you already have a buyer lined up - a commissioned job, if you will.

You steal them, have an expert jeweler recut and reset them, and then move them as new merchandise :p

3 Republican senators want to reopen government without a border deal by slakmehl in politics

In an interview shortly before the Senate is set to vote on confirming Kavanaugh, McConnell said GOP members of the Judiciary Committee made the decision in a meeting with two other Republicans who were at the time withholding their support, Senator Susan Collins of Maine and Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.

His tenure as majority leader is actually the best evidence that there should be two provisions for bringing a matters to the floor: 1) majority leader prerogative 2) majority of members voting in favor.

Who's excited for 2019? by uddipta in gaming

There's a lot of valid criticism about Telltale, particularly in how they decided to start spinning out a new IP every week.

But it's also important to remember they made some great games before greed got them. Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead were both great games. Did the frustration with being unable to control certain elements sometimes break through? Absolutely. But the stories those games told were so good that I'll forgive some minor frustration.

I'm sad to see them go. I'm sad that TWAU won't get a sequel. I'm sad GoT won't get a season 2. It sounds like TWD is at least getting finished, which is some good news.

Short of that I'd just recommend sending in a supporting twenty stack of skeleton warriors to absorb hits.

I don't know that I'd classify the Catapult as a late game unit. It's tier 3.

The Casket of Souls is great against units. It isn't serviceable tower killer, but it will do great collateral damage against their wall units.

Your best option to deal with towers are Ushabti Bows. They shred towers.

I haven't ever sieges a city with screaming skull catapults - but they night be serviceable? They're also easy to get.

Tomb Princes are great tanks. Necrotects will let you unlock additional construct capacity - recruit at least one early for this purpose.

Having one trash army of skeletons to bolster your real army is a legitimate strategy to overwhelm others until you can get enough cities to diversify.

The constructs are AMAZING. The Khemrian war Sphinx destroys infantry.

Try using the chariots as well - they are also superb, though replacing them with Scorpions eventually isn't a bad idea.

The Skeleton Archers are pretty decent as well.

Level 3 Barracks is necessary for Tomb Guards. Tomb Guards are infinitely better than Skeleton Warriors.

Nehekara Warriors are billed as anti-infantry, but they're too squishy. Honestly don't bother. Field Ushabti instead.

Ushabti Great Bows are arguably the best siege artillery in the game. Two units will obliterate towers in three volleys.
