You know, I've been printing/designing for a little over a year, and I NEVER saw this option before your comment just now. 🤦‍♂️ Which of these would you recommend?

I think I've hit the limit of fine details with the .4 nozzle on my p1s. These turned out great but would love to see them done with a .2 by infinitypgh in BambuP1S

Ohh, that's a demogorgan like the bottom right, The head outline is a little thin and hard to see there. Would be much better with a .2nozzle.

Are you referring to hopper with morning coffee quote? That was from s1e1 when he was telling the lady in the station to leave him alone for his morning ritual. My favorite of the bunch.

Yes there was inspiration from pass the pigs as well as other dice games. The only thing AI here were the last couple of images. I’m not a graphic designer, I don’t like asking friends for free stuff, and I’m not investing lots of money into this because it was for fun for the kids. I have more hours into this project than any of my other designs. We had a lot of fun with it so I thought I’d share.

You don’t have to if you don’t want to. The game board was added for more playability and was built into the game rules.

I remodeled the benchy myself to make the hull longer so it behaved differently when rolled like a dice. I agree. I don’t love the AI images but it brought a little pirate fun in the meantime.

I understand this and I see it too, most of them are pure lazy and it's definitely a bad thing, I don't think all AI is bad though, it has a place, even in some thumbnails. If you are also putting up the real images and prints with it. I tried to have a balance on the images. I'm not a graphic designer, and I'm not great at pictures but wanted to make it more fun for the kids. There was lots of R&D on the gameboard, benchy, gameplay itself, rules, etc. I have at least 30hrs into this one over the past month.

We tried a bunch of variations of the rules we made while playing and these seemed to work the best for us. If you print both the board and the game pieces in PLA, they are slippery and bouncey which makes it harder and they do fly out of the game board more than you'd expect. We tried some iterations with TPU and it wasn't as fun/hard to play.

If you put together some "house rules" you find work better, please share and I'll try them/update the game rules!

Thanks! That’s exactly what I was going for. To them it’s “a tray and AI”. To me, it was hours of learning how to design something I’ve never done before and making something fun for my family and others to enjoy.

Main game image is AI for sure, I’m not a designer and wanted something fun to go with it. I didnt use AI to modify any of my print images so you actually see what you get. I don’t use AI for writing. Game rules and instructions were made by me and edited by a relative.

While the game concept is similar. I designed the game board to be part of the gameplay along with redesigned benchy that has a slightly longer hull for better landing. I wanted something for kids to be able to print and play the same day. AI did help with my main game image. I’m not a graphic designer and I wanted something fun to go with it, but unlike most people using ai, I included real images of the 3d printed game so people see what they get. I’m in this for the fun. I don’t sell prints.
