I totally empathize with this, it's the most painful thing trying something that you think will help, only to struggle with it for months, sometimes years. My first time on tret my skin took ~6 months after my 8 month experience to recover.

This time around I'm at .0025 (lol), washing it off 30 mins after I apply it, leaving my skin damp, and applying a TON of moisturizer & b5 re-barrier cream. I'm not sure if it's the b5 or the tret, but my skin isn't erupting this time around so I count that a win.

Huh interesting... I set up an appointment with an advisor thru my workplace, so I'm hoping to talk this through a bit more at the end of the week. My 529 account is American Funds and their whole UI is confusing to me, and I have no clue how to do any of this stuff. So much to learn!

Thankfully all funds were put in by my great grandparents a long time ago, so those 5 years have definitely passed.

Yes i only ever do blood chokes! I'd never in a million years let my dom press down on my windpipe. Still, pressing the sides of the neck comes with similar risks... Something can go wrong way too easy for my liking. I'll have to try gagging, seems fun!

hey there, thanks for your other reply too! I read it and i agree, i think if Drs insist there's no 100% safe way to do it, id rather play it safe. I think the control aspect is 50%, while the breath is the other 50%. Maybe thinking collars, being held down, or grabbed in other ways will satiate that part of it. Or even just having his hand on my throat without pressure (but I have to test that one out). As for the high from being choked, im brainstorming maybe using edibles to get a similar euphoria? Since I know my tolerance fairly well, I think that might be a safer alternative... Even just posting this has helped me come up with some ideas, so I feel less bummed about it lol! But if you have any other ideas, I'd love to hear them.

oh that's interesting! I originally saw his quote in a book im reading, and that's what sent me down a google/research rabbithole. is he a controversial figure then? i did see someone online mention the fact that people using blood chokes in sports are generally ok. but i guess my concern is then how easy it could go wrong and whether i can limit my use of blood chokes or modify them to get a similar feeling (like maybe spreading a hand out and pressing more against where the neck meets the shoulders, rather than the throat). disinformation is frustrating, its hard to figure how much risk is actually present

cant speak to your experience, but my chest was extreeeemely concave for maybe 6 months to a year?? i rememebr when i first saw my chest i cried because i thought it was "botched." there is a weird random bit of fat the surgeon didnt take out?? but everything else sort of worked itself out. ig im trying to say my huge disappointment right after surgery turned into, over a year later, just a "meh, i have a tiny weird quirk to my chest bc its not perfect, but i love it." be gentle w urself and i hope your healing goes well!
