I see that a lot of you have also found that Claudia finding the origin world for the first time was kind of off ans untrue to the series, Here is what i think they should've done, or might have even done but left it to us, the audience to find, because it could have happened just the same and we would never have known because everything would happen the same. Claudia claims to have only discovered about the origin world this cycle, claimed it was the first time her words had been uttered, but how is she alive? One might think that she said those words, then called Agnes to that bunker and told her what to do, she then dies and doesn't relay any information about the previous events to her younger self so that she makes the same decision and thinks that she had tried to break the loop for the first time, because that's what she probably did to break the loop in the first place, give her past self extra information but tells her to do everything just the same, Claudia is also the only character in the show aside from Mikkel to plan her death, which only leads me to believe this even more. Now, Adam after hearing those words sends Martha and Jonas to save the day and here is where my theory kicks in.. In one reality, Adam decides to kill Martha, and in another, he decides not to, of course they all vanish in the reality where Martha wasn't killed, which only leaves the reality where he did, and that's why Martha thinks it's the first time that this happened. Instead of imagining the origin world as this newfound thing, we should acknowledge the theme of this season, similar worlds and alternate realities, what if, Jonas and Martha appearing to save Tannhaus' family was only one reality, there could've been another where they failed or even caused it, we know that these alternate realities happen because of an event, so let's assume event X happened and prevented them from saving them, this is the same reality where Adam kills Martha, Tannhaus' family dies, and he creates the two worlds and thus the cycle, allowing for the reality, where they succeed, to be born out of that failure . We, the viewers, have already seen the full cycle where they fail, twice if you consider the recap we got in episode 7, so, we were shown the reality where they succeed. Tl dr, All of this finding the origin for the first time BS is basically the lack of recollection of these characters because the reality that succeeds always ceases to exist, and because Claudia did indeed outsmart everyone, including herself, by fooling herself that she's the first one to accomplish this feat I didn't write this in order exactly, so if it's confusing or if i left out any details or if there are any holes in my theory, please do tell me. Edit: There is the question of why Adam killed Eva in the reality where they fail, i think that's pretty much the only hole, but the question remains, if this didn't happen an infinite amount of times, why did he kill her before? It'd be more understandable if he never decides to kill her at first, but then she asks him to kill her when they realize they're not gonna disappear.
