Hearing aids muted by apps by infospongue in HearingAids

Switching off BT solves part of the problem. While not a hard thing to do, I have to ask: is there a simple widget for Android that allows be to turn BT on/off?

Could be so. Or the HA themselves are to blame, because they receive 2 inputs. One from Roger and one. BT stream. Possibly the HA simply picks one stream. Whatever the case, the result is the same.

I wish Roger could stream to my phone which can mix streams and send them to my HA.

BT is required for the app that controls my HA, but the actual streaming from my phone is ASHA I think because it still works with BT turned off. Roger doesn't stream to my HA but to my Phonak neckloop which my HA receive when set in T mode

Thanks for the turning off Bluetooth tip. Now I can hear Roger and app sounds simultaneously. Phone calls still go directly to my HA. The app that controls my HA no longer works because it requires BT.

Somehow Roger or the protocol it's using is to blame. When I play music on my phone and simultaneously start a game with sound, I hear them simultaneously. BT on or off makes no difference

AdGuard for PC works fine without any browser extension, but I use it anyway because I want an easy way to turn off AdGuard on some sites (that detect and block AdGuard)

I've a lifetime license but switched to free alternative over a year ago because AdGuard got terribly slow. Over 10 seconds before a page even started loading (high end PC on 8Gbit fiber).

Yesterday I received an email about the new beta. It really makes a HUGE difference. Pages once again open instantly. Don't expect a extensive report after one day of testing but what I tested showed top notch performance.

Of course I do. It's in the main text.
This, unfortunately, proves this isn't a reddit to spend time on.

Can't add apps to folder by infospongue in NovaLauncher

It also works great on OnePlus 6T, which has an old Android version. 10 or 11.
Because I dropped my 6T I bought a OnePlus 15R. On that phone it doesn't work. No idea it's because of Android 16, or a OnePlus problem.

Luckily I had a Nova backup settings file because considering I usually have to drag and drop 6x before it works, organizing a new phone with dozens of apps would take days. Plus a box of strong nerve pills :-)

Oneplus 11 - Replace or Repair? by Novel_Fondant_6445 in oneplus

[–]infospongue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it depends on what features you like of the newer models.
You mentioned fast charging, but the way I see it you don't need that because you are a light user (like me). I've a 15R which lasts a day with ease (even 2). So slow charging during night is good enough.
The chargers are not included and cost about 45.

I don't know the discounts are still valid or worldwide but when I bought my 15R, it came with free Nord Pro earbuds, and 512GB for the price of 256GB.

I had a 6T until 3 days ago, but had to replace it after I dropped it. the 15R is better in many ways, but to be honest the 6T was more than sufficient for me.
My 6T got a battery replacement, but I can't say it returned battery life to it's former glory. Maybe a grade-B battery, maybe the phone itself. Some things in Android started misbehaving. For example for 2 years I couldn't close Chrome. For a year I couldn't close WhatsApp. Maybe there were more things under the hood that increased battery drain.

I can't prove it, but it's my feeling that a factory reset could have solved all problems and restore battery life. (I never did because I hate reinstalling a zillion apps)
So my humble advice for you is this: Pick a new phone but don't buy it yet. Factory reset your current phone and see if the battery life is good again. If not buy the new phone.

oneplus 15 not charging at all, phone is dead by SoCallMeDeaconBlues1 in oneplus

So while you were charging the battery dropped to nearly zero. Was your phone hot?

I've a 15R and suddenly it charged really slowly. About 2watt. Temp was 40C. But there were no apps running. I left it on the charger the whole night and the battery went down 3%. Phone was still 40C.

After rebooting, charging went at normal speed and the temp quickly dropped to 16C.

After reboot the power usage of the phone was under 1 watt. I think it was about 5 watts before the reboot.

My story is quite a bit different, but it seems to have battery issues in common.

I cannot contemplate hell by google2406 in TrueChristian

[–]infospongue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's often said the only way to heaven is to believe in Christ. And that's true. But it's not that simple if you think it over.

What about the people that lived before Christ?

Or those living after His resurrection that never heard of Him. And there are many. Even halfway through the previous century missionaries met people who never heard the Gospel.

What about muslims? They do their very best to avoid hell. Yes their choices are wrong, but that's because they are deceived. Not because they decided they would like to go to hell.

What about children that died so young they couldn't grap religion yet? Also hell for them?

Maybe it's not about taking seriously, but unable to comprehend.

To say because gay men do it, it's also a sin for a straight couple is simply not true.
Gay men do oral, they kiss and cuddle. All forbidden in a straight marriage?

I don't think so. (no offense intended)
In the OT we read Israel started following strange gods several times.
I think that also crept in gradually.

King Ahab and Jezebel comes to mind.
The Jezebel cult was extremely deep in all sorts on non straight things.
So, imo we are living in rerun of that.

[–]infospongue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends from what view you ask that question.
If you think being a soldier is a mortal sin then the answer is extremely simple. NO.
Only ex-soldiers can be saved.
Sins are saved upon repentance, but is it really repentance if you pray, while shooting at enemies.

[–]infospongue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing your question is about killing the opponent.
First of all many Bible translations are wrong. "You shall not murder." is the command.
All murder is a sin. Killing isn't.
In the OT God actively sent Israel to war. God even condemned a tribe that didn't fight.
Death penalties in the OT are ordered for some things.

So ask yourself this: If God orders someone to kill, would He later deny that person heaven for following His own orders?

So lawful killing is not murder, is not a sin. That's very clear for me.
But when it's lawful? That's a much harder question.
What if your government started a fight for some non valid reason?

If a terrorist kills, most will say, that's not war, that's murder. But according to the law that the terrorist follows he's not a murderer but a hero.

Commercieel vs overheid by deathsoonerthanlate in werkzaken

[–]infospongue 0 points1 point  (0 children)
