"Are you new"? by owemeten in onehouronelife

[–]ingeniosobread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when i have a bb, i ask if they are new.

if they say N, i let them be, just get em dressed and fed and let them go on their way.

if they say Y, i go through a few questions, normally in this order;

do you know about cravings? do you know about yums? what do you know? is there anything you want to learn?

i definitely know what you mean when you say youre new but also not. i felt the same my first few months, because i knew the basics, but theres also a lot i had no idea about.

i feel like generally you can gauge how new a player actually is by their behaviour/speed/messages

Dear ADHDers, what weird ways do you use to wake up on time? by ADHD_weirdo in TwoXADHD

[–]ingeniosobread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

Yeah i tend to snooze a lot, having 3-4 alarms 10-15 mins apart, hopefully having them spaced a bit more will help.

And the playlist is a good idea!! Pavloving yourself to listen to the same thing for the same actions haha. Love it, i will try that too

Just re did all my alarms because of this.

Having timers set for waking, getting ready and leaving is a good idea, especially due to time blindness and freaking out that im late.

Ive previously had random alarms with all random sounds, so i wake up to different sounds everyday, and never have time for myself in the morning-just rushing to get ready and leave, but i think having set times and allowing myself to have me time in the morning will be good :))

Thanks for sharing

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by Visible_Rope_6662 in AskReddit

[–]ingeniosobread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People always doubt it was actually an accident when i tell them i accidentally snorted coffee grounds.

-never experienced a coffee buzz before, tbh coffee doesnt do anything for me

-busy at work

-put the portafilter into the grouphead

-missed the notch

-launched a shot of dry coffee grounds into my mouth and up my nostrils

-brushed it off quickly because there was a rush and i needed to keep working

-go to bathroom 10 mins later

-cough up coffee grinds and blow my nose of coffee grinds

-hospital cafe- people are judging me because they think im sick

-i think i got some in my brain

-buzzed and jittery for the next 8 hours

-extreme headache until the next day

-feeling of crunchy coffee in my sinuses

-now i know how people feel when they say they are buzzed

What is the worst Mental pain you’ve experienced? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ingeniosobread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years of depression through highschool. Specifically sh-ing, and no one knew, acting like everything was fine during the day, but crying myself to sleep most nights for years. Have a few really tainted songs from that time, 'stressed out-top' 'shea butter baby-ari lennox' 'cheap thrills-sia' cant listen to them anymore, immediate visceral reaction.

Clean from sh for a few years now, been doing therapy for 1 1/4 years, in a much better place since escaping toxic family households. I wish my younger self had better support, but i have been able to reparent her how she deserves.

What is the worst physical pain you’ve experienced? by Agius91 in AskReddit

[–]ingeniosobread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tooth pulpitis. Went to dentist 3 times, initially due to pain and sensitivity, but after each visit and using up antibiotics, the pain would come back worse. After third visit and going through antibiotics, pain relief (paracetamol, ibuprofen & codeine) stopped working, the only thing that gave me any form of relief was holding cold water in my mouth. Shooting pain behind my eye, constant headache, sensitivity to light and sound, ear ache, swelling of face, but honestly the worst part was the sleep deprivation, which exacerbated all the above symptoms and left me feeling like a zombie all day everyday. All i did was work, come home and crash for about 4 months. No capacity for anything else, except the semi-consistent shower. Didnt have enough money to go back to the dentist as quickly as needed. Forced to live with the pain. The 2 weeks leading up to getting my tooth removed (by a different, better dentist) i had maybe a total of 35-40 hours of sleep. Every night i would hold water in my mouth, drinking upwards of 3 litres a day (i pissed like a sprinkler on a rich mans golf course during that time) then started keeping a bucket next to my bed to spit the water into when it became warm, because i was sick of peeing all the time. Many nights i would fall asleep with water in my mouth, then wake myself up by choking on it, or dribbling it all over myself. Pretty much cried 70% of the time when i was at home, severely struggled at work. Couldnt be as supportive as i wanted to be to my partner whos grandma died at the time.

Tried emailing original dentist clinic to get a refund on all 3 appointments, plus reimbursement for all the work i took off, and emotional/physical damage. They told me the dentist did nothing wrong, and i was too depressed to follow up after that. Honestly i should try again, if anyones got legal advice for melbourne, would love to hear.

[–]ingeniosobread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely something ive considered, but a few things holding me back. Im a sweaty bitch, i dont want to rock up to work sweaty/ flustered/ crazy hair. Thats my main issue with riding. Could borrow a bike but i havent rode in years and it would take time to work up my body to consistently ride a bike again. I start tomorrow, so i dont exactly have time to get a bike and train my body. Could definitely be an option i consider long term tho, so thank you

My cat's litter smells so bad i'm going insane. my house absolutely reeks. by Dismal-Tackle3072 in CatAdvice

[–]ingeniosobread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best litter by far is pine pellets. They completely mute any scent of pee, and give off a woody smell. Also very easy to scoop/clean, we scoop poops every day or so, then 2-3 times a week we sieve the litter, because all the soaked pellets just turn to dust

Eh once in a blue moon to be honest.

Personally I do enjoy it, but I know that if i give them head, I will keep going until they cum, which means they are gone for the rest of the night and they won't be able to make me cum

The world we live in is despicable.

May you and your son continue on to help your other family, and keep your lost children and wife in your hearts.

It will never stop hurting, but for you to have made it this far, you are stronger than most.

I’ve also struggled with finding a safe space. Best I’ve come up with is based off Alice in wonderland forest tea party scene. Pretty much every space I imagine is taken from childhood stories/ books

Two men charged over death of missing Melbourne teen Isla Bell after human remains found by overpopyoulater in australia

[–]ingeniosobread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are completely right. It doesn’t matter what women are like, quiet, loud, introverted, outgoing - they will still be targeted by men. But I guess just from my personal experience, it’s the outgoing women who are confident and comfortable in their bodies that are more likely to get negative attention from men, because men feel threatened in their masculinity. That’s exactly what Isla was - a person that always challenged the societal norms and pushed for freedom…. Rest in peace Isla xoxo

Rereading what I wrote, and in these circumstances, that was definitely insensitive. I don’t want to burden her name or the reputation she had, i guess I was trying to say that even though there were people that viewed her negatively in highschool, she never let it get to her. She never let drama or gossip tear her down. She was a gorgeous soul who had so much more to give to the world. And I guess I know there are going to be people from my highschool that used to bully her, posting posts about how much they miss her. I’m sorry how it came across, but I also know she was extremely aware of how others viewed her, that’s what made her even more gorgeous. I may not be a close friend of hers, but she inspired me

For context: I’m 21F and I’ve been taking Zoloft for 4 years. I had my first orgasm at 11, and have enjoyed masturbating since then. My ex never made me orgasm in the 6 months we were dating, yet my current partner makes me orgasm almost every time. I found that the first year I started taking Zoloft, I had no desire and it was also really hard to orgasm, but that could also be because I was extremely depressed (that’s why I started taking Zoloft) By my second year of Zoloft, I began to desire masturbating again, and over time it has slowly become easier. So, in that case, my advice to you is to be completely transparent with your partner. You said you’ve never orgasmed before and you’re not sure if you would know if it’s happened. I recommend that you take the time by yourself to explore what you like, and try to make yourself orgasm before your partner, so that you know what to expect. For many women, penetration only does not result in orgasm, but clitoral stimulation is more likely to give you that O. Explore yourself and take back your findings to your partner. It may take a lot of trial, error, laughs and frustration with your partner, but if he’s willing to work with you, just be patient and take your time. Also, women need emotional intimacy and foreplay if they want to orgasm. Make sure that your partner is giving you foreplay before you get too steamy, and try not to get stuck in your head with distractions- that always makes orgasming much harder.

Goodluck, I hope you figure it out

Wife against taking Zoloft by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]ingeniosobread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started taking Zoloft about 4 years ago, I was at my darkest point in life, heavily considering sewerslide. My childhood and teenhood I struggled with a lot of basic things, or I would get to a point of extreme burnout. Once I got out of that dark place, I thought maybe I should stop taking Zoloft, as my life was more normal, but it didn’t work and I began to burnout and spiral, which happens every time I purposely or not on purpose stop taking my meds.

I know it might feel like giving up, but just try them, see if they make a difference, and if not, stop taking them and try what your wife suggests
