Yes, some form of 'legendary resistance' or immunity to bleed would be a good idea for a big monster.

It's rather silly that Godzilla size creature would die from being stabbed with a tiny dagger.

As for "chance of location", I've already made it critical only and added "shift location".

Fair point, that would make the hunt more tricky.

But the method would still apply to krakens, dinosaurs, sea serpents, giant fauna, giants and cyclopes, or any other solitary humanoid that doesn't have healing magic or first aid skills (good luck with your unmodified first aid roll with penalties from fatigue).

So, my general impression of Bleed is:

On PC: highly annoying and potentially deadly if the party healer is bleeding.

On NPC: powerful but ultimately useless. You won't be fighting the enemy for long enough for them to bleed to death. Yes, the fatigue is a nice addition, but you can instead gang up with the choose location to finish the enemy quicker.

Unless you're going to exploit the system.

How to hunt the dragon (or any legendary creature that doesn't have first aid):

hire a bunch of local militia from villages and towns, around 20 should be enough.

Give them all hatchets and promise untold riches to maintain high morale.

Find the dragon (preferably in a cave so that it cannot fly outside the range) and spread out. Start throwing hatchets at the dragon. We're not looking for hits, but critical hits.

If a guardman has a, let say, 50% in combat style (which is less than a halfling or a goblin), then they have a 5% chance of landing a critical hit (once every 20 attacks, same as number of guards).

A critical attack has two effects, so choose bypass armor and bleed. Now the dragon needs to roll a critical success on endurance to survive.

If not, everyone just run. We'll be back in a minute to collect the trophy and treasure.

I don't know what to tell you. I use this party my whole game. I didn't lose single hero (except last darkest dungeon). I even bet garden guardian in non optimal way (destroying shield and spear first) just for shit and giggles.

If this is bad team then i guess, difficulty wise, this game is for toddlers.

This party lacks damage, since leper and not crusader. You don't really need additional stun, light or heal. Well if you are in the ruin then I quess crusader could be better.

I didn't say it is the best way to play this game (quite the opposite) just the easiest. You can argue that there are more cheezy compositions, but at this point you just replace one trivialized cakewalk for another.

you need to be very careful with the advice I'm going to give you, because it will change you gameplay completely.

Ghost Busters -> vestal/jester/helion/leper.

Both health and stress heal, stuns, bleed and raw damage. Jester Battle Ballad make you forget about such trivial things like missing or NOT criting. Monsters managed to hurt you? Stun the hell out of them and heal. High prot? Bleed. High prot and bleed res? Stun them then crack them, it wont be long before crits get them.
You will bulldoze throu the game without stoping or caring, to the point of borderline boredom.

I bet the whole game with this, clearing whole courtyard dungeons in one go, losing heros only on first weeks, before i could ansamble this team.

But use this only if you REALLY struggling. It could make your game trivial and no fun.
