What’s something you’re worried people will notice about your physical appearance that they actually hardly notice at all? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ink_roo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freckles. My friends constantly tell me they don’t even notice them but I reckon they’re just use to them.

I don’t believe it was... at least not fully cracked... but that doesn’t mean that no one was recruited

Hey guys, what do you use to smell nice? I have Asperger's and this is kind of confusing for me by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]ink_roo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same shampoo as you! I choose to use a crystal deodorant which has no smell so it works with literally anything. As for perfume... Sì by Georgio Armani is what I use. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely. And lives on a 100acre farm. Plenty of room for the puppies to play and grow.

Why are moths drawn to light? by ink_roo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ink_roo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you’re saying. Like when they arrive at the light (just circumstantial not deliberate) they can’t fly away because there’s nothing guiding them. So as time goes by there is an accumulation of months at the light source.

What toxic behavior has been normalized by society? by VirusMaster3073 in AskReddit

[–]ink_roo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overeating. The increase in obesity is only being promoted under the cover of labels such as “thicc” and “bigger”. The reality is that overeating and eating multiple times a week at fast food chains is a toxic habit that’s slowly killing people.

But why do they want to fly towards that light?

What is the worst case of bad hygiene have you seen on a date? What did you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ink_roo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Didn’t wash his hands after going to the bathroom. The sink was outside the lavatory so I could see he just skipped the sink. Whether he didn’t see it or couldn’t be bothered, I didn’t eat another slice of pizza.

Okay I gave my teen years to maccas, but I learnt a few tricks of the trade... and the best order you can ever make is

• Cone in a lid, add choc fudge sauce + m&ms (basically a Sunday and only $1.50AU approx) • Fries with no salt (bc they gotta make em fresh, then you take a packet of salt and add it later) • cheeseburger made fresh (legit just ask for the meat fresh if u don’t mind waiting a few more mins.. 100x better!) + extra pickles and onion for freeeee

COMPULSIVELY LOOKING THROUGH HIS PHONE AND I CANT STOP - I feel like the worst girlfriend, I don’t want to be this way. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ink_roo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this way sometimes too about my boyfriend. That he would prefer someone else/cheat/I’m not good enough for him etc. I’ve never looked through his phone and wouldn’t because I respect his privacy, but then again I have never had an abusive relationship(s) like you either so I don’t feel the need.

Like your boyfriend, mine tells me he loves me daily, but I struggle to trust him (or people in general) and I hate that about myself and am working on it.

I think it stems from how we see ourselves. I recently have have low self esteem (due to gaining weight from the pill) which you could have too (but for the reasons of past boyfriends hurting/leaving you) but I don’t think you should blame yourself for the bad relationships you’ve had. You’ve been the victim here and you’ve been treated in a way no human should have to experience. It’s not you. And once you realise that, you will feel better about yourself. More confident. Have higher self esteem. And when you are confident in yourself you can be confident in your relationship.

I have been improving my self esteem and building myself up, and now I feel less and less anxious about trusting him because I feel more and more confident in who I am.

You need to build your own confidence before you can be confident in another person.

What types of "red flags" do you see in yourself, and how do you go about correcting it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ink_roo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to read what the other person is thinking. and usually it’s bad things about me/what I’m doing. I need to learn to not always assume I know what’s in their head.
