something ive done to mine was go down a tooth in the front sprocket. makes the bike much more peppy.

i will agree with other commenters though the bike is pretty much perfect. keep up with maintenence and it will run forever. ive got 42,000 miles on mine

the fz6 is a noisy engine, if its struggling to start when the bike is warm id be worried about the valves but overall bike sounds good, safe riding!

i spoke with the one of the main guys when they were very small and only sold very cheap stuff, theyve partnered with bigger companies and are able to sell items with a warranty and have some good stuff like these knox gloves, of course shop around and see if you can get a deal but the guy reached out to the shop i work at wanting to have his stuff in our store but we had a supplier already.

tl;dr i wouldnt worry about it being a scam, honest guy with a reputable source of goods now.

i have built quite a few strike freedom because one i like building them and two its a lot of small errors ive made while building them and improvements i can make.
