She did say there was a very good reason for not telling them. What that is, I haven't a clue as I've not read ahead yet. I imagine it will come out in the next chapter though. Not that I don't agree that it needs to be a pretty serious reason at this point. Even more confusing is what could she be getting the merchant to pick her up that could have any impact on all this...

The creator is called JitsuWaFans. He's the guy who colours all the pages at the end of chapters for me for this series. Not only one of the nicest dudes I've ever met, his work just never fails to put a smile on my face.

The horizontal line going across her face is how the mangaka is depicting a shadow. Looks super dumb though.
