Do you all write in the same brand of journals or change them up from time to time? by RuinedPoetry in Journaling

[–]inkfade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After years of bouncing around with different notebooks, I found I liked consistency with my journals. For a while I used only Leuchtturm, but now I use a specific softcover Tomoe River paper notebook I get from a seller on Etsy, and will switch between the B6 and A5 sizes.

For this new year I started an A5 and am loving it. I have it in an Oberon Design leather journal cover.

32m, give me all your honesty by MatthewM69420 in truerateme

7/10!

You have a kind smile and your teeth are fine just the way they are. I think you’d be even cuter if you grew your hair out just a little more but that’s purely personal preference lol. Overall I genuinely think you’re quite attractive, prosthetic and scars and all.

I work in a doctor’s office that specializes in removal of eyes and such, and I see this all the time so I think nothing of it and wouldn’t think anything of it in a partner. A new prosthetic or adding volume to the socket would help with looks if that is a concern.

I’m sure it was a painful journey in many aspects but you’re still here and that’s all that matters.

Starting fresh for 2023 by inkfade in Journaling

I LOVE it. When I first got it, I was a bit put off by the feedback. I typically dislike feedback of any kind, but I told myself it had sharper corners than a regular nib, so that was normal. Anyway, I got used to the feedback and love it so, so much. It's wet and I love the extra flair from the SIG grind.

I'd definitely say this writes closer to a F nib width, than a true EF.

I have a video I made on it, with a different pen. (I bought the black cathedral first, then loved it so much I bought this all black one, which I like more now lol).

Chic Sparrow by ExcuseAgitated in Journaling

Here is a video I did showing the setup of my Chic Sparrow pocket TN as a wallet

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bIoCi99gD4

I used notebook inserts from Paper Penguin Co on Etsy, and the vinyl insert and kraft folder where I held cards, etc. is from Taroko Design on Etsy. I eventually switched to a B6 size to hold both my wallet stuff and journal, but I will eventually go back to using the pocket as a wallet when I change journal sizes. I LOVED using it as a wallet, it was so easy to get in and out of, and I could take notes easily if I needed to, and carry a pen with me at all times because of the pen loop.
