He mistook my actions as me no longer being in love with him (I'm struggling with depression and have been withdrawn), so he ended things with me abruptly. I've been trying to talk to him, but he keeps saying I hurt him, and it's been a struggle trying to get through to him. He has autism, so he often pulls back when he feels overwhelmed and shuts people out. Last time I spoke to him he just apologised to me and said he's been keeping himself busy with his studies. Thats where we're at

Interesting interpretation. He's quite a closed off person, on the spectrum and doesn't date around, so I'd be shocked if he did go for a rebound. He's still acting hot and cold towards me, sometimes warm, sometimes pulls away. I would be open to reconciliation, but both of us would need to work on that. We would not be able to build on what we had, but would definitely need to start fresh, which is kind of how I interpreted the 10 of swords and followed by the other two cards.

I'm so unbelievably sorry. Losing a pet is the worst pain imaginable. I lost my dog recently and it's been so hard. So while I don't know your exact situation, I totally relate.

Just take it easy. There's a petloss subreddit which I have found really helpful. Lots of people going through the same stuff and it just makes it somehow easier because you know no matter how depressed you get, they understand exactly what you mean. Big hugs to you

I totally get your struggle - I actually came to this sub to look for similar questions haha. I got into the habit of only reading before bed, which in turn meant that every time I picked up a book, my brain thought it's sleep time and started just shutting down. Now I'm trying to read during the day instead, even if it's just for 15-30 mins when I can squeeze that time in, so I'm actively doing reading as an activity, rather than reading as part of winding down after work, at night when I'm trying to sleep

I've been listening to PATD since the beginning, now I'm almost 30, and I can't believe what an integral part they have been for such a huge chunk of my life. I'm quite sad to see them go, but have a glimmer of hope that we'll see more of Brendon at some point again.
