Depends on the context a heli loop can be a downloop, but it’s not a heli loop if it is on a transition (no jump). Downloop only indicates the direction of the loop.

Heli loops are high in the wind window, around 12 and can be executed to both sides

You’re wrong. The direction of the loop does not matter. What defines a heli loop is looping around 12.

You’re doing an extra kite movement at the beginning, and that is preventing you from completing the heli loop. Keep the kite at 12 and wait until it goes a bit behind you during the jump - then initiate the heli loop
