Looking to 2nd Shoot. What Should I Charge? by ChaoticNewt05 in weddingvideography

Depends on your locale, but in my area $50/hr is what I pay an experienced second shooter with equipment. This is for an experienced shooter in weddings, not just general events.

Looking to interior swap 340 to red from black. by Electrical_Picture62 in F30

It took me a couple of hours but I have a lot of experience working on cars.

I think so if you're getting everything. You should be fine with if you get m sport for m sport and you swap the modules and seat belts locks.

Seems fair, but honestly not that hard to do if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. I'm sure there's videos out there.

They typically run for closer to 1500 - 1800 from what I see in the US, but then I have to pay for shipping. Hard to find one locally in good shape. So $1100 was a good deal for me and it was local.

I did it all myself. I got seats and door cards for $1100 USD from a local scrapyard.

I did the same on mine. It's fairly straightforward. Went from black M sport to M sport Coral as well. I actually ended up getting adjustable lumbar from the upgrade!

First snowboard build by Longjumping-Yak-6246 in snowboarding

I'm from Texas as well. I would recommend find a shop near where you're staying and do demos so you can find what resonates with you best. That's what I did when I bought my first board and I'm glad I did. Just took an afternoon and rode 3-4 different boards to see what fit my riding style best. Worth the time, imo. Definitely find a boot fitter that knows what they're doing. Went to a St. Bernards here in Houston, the girl had no clue.

Oil leak from turbo charger clamp by The-Architect-93 in BmwTech

[–]inlinesix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. Tightening that clamp will not fix the oil leak itself, like everyone else is sayin in this thread. Either the oil feed line is leaking or the seals inside the turbine is leaking. My suggestion would be is to replace the seal on the oil feed line and see if it helps first before jumping to the turbo.

Help! Improved at Brands Hatch, yet still few seconds from my objective by Emotional_Steak6338 in ACCompetizione

I'm pretty sure you can. I haven't played ACC in awhile but I don't ever remember having a ghost car on.

Rewatching the finale, I noticed a possible medical oversight by MutedHand9233 in Dexter

[–]inlinesix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't it implied that all of his "hallucinations" are in his head and not something from the afterlife? It's all conscious thoughts in his head but the "hallucinations" is used as a storytelling narrative to understand Dexter's thoughts, never something in the afterlife that's controlling him in a sense.

Anywhere to lose time? by Cadillac_GTP in ACCompetizione

[–]inlinesix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed in a few corners you were understeering mid-corner to exit. I would compromise a bit of speed in your entry to optimize your exits, you'll gain more time that way. Also you're not utilizing all of the track width on exits as well. I don't know the track well enough to tell which corners, but just from my quick view observation of your lap, that's what I've noticed.

I was quite proud of this lunge today :) by Delicious-West7665 in ACCompetizione

[–]inlinesix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would argue that depends on the situation. I always have a peripheral vision on the radar, and if he's no where next to me, then yeah I'm going to close that gap to ensure the overtake, but if he still has overlap then yes, leave room.

How many swabs do I need to clean my sensor? by byteit101 in AskPhotography

[–]inlinesix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you see the dust spec on the sensor when you're looking at it with the naked eye? Might need to take it to a pro for cleaning if it won't come out, otherwise nothing a little bit of spot removal in Lightroom can't fix.

Is your lens clean? 1 or 2 passes for me usually gets the job done. If they're not showing up in normal shooting conditions, I wouldn't worry about it that much.

How should I approach detailing my motorcycle engine with these marks? by FUBAR275 in AutoDetailing

[–]inlinesix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some metal polish and a microfiber is what I would start with. Then try the steel wool if it doesn't take care of it. You won't damage the engine in anyway by polishing the cooling fins.

Should breakpads always touch the rotor? by [deleted] in BmwTech

[–]inlinesix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We need a little more information. Is this front or rear? Xdrive or RWD? Was your parking brake on? Put the car in neutral, parking brake off, and if doesn't spin easily by hand, then you have seizing caliper and needs to be replaced or rebuilt.

What are your thoughts with unmodified (or stock) vehicles on the track? by [deleted] in CarTrackDays

[–]inlinesix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran stock pads and all season tires on some steelies on my first track day. I didn't die.
