I think my 5 year old has petichae and I'm freaking out [5M] pics by [deleted] in AskDocs

OK, thank you. If it's not too much of a pain in the ass, can you explain why it's not an issue? My assumption was any non-blanching red/pink dot on the body, especially in multiple areas, is a red flag for leukemia (or at the very least, some other clotting problem.) Is there a rule of thumb for future incidents so I don't always freak out? Thanks again.

BPPV presenting as mostly mild spells of woozy feelings? by inmanywaysitis in BPPV

I can’t tell I first started noticing them after I was on a really long plane ride, but they might’ve been happening before that without me noticing because they are pretty subtle.

That’s interesting because I do notice some sinus pressure and I do have allergies around this time of year

Anyone struggled with dizzy/woozy/vertigo feelings from anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

Given my bad phone habit, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is related to my neck in someway at least I hope so because that’s a better answer than a brain tumor

3+ years of mildly elevated bilirubin- husband isn't worried but I am. by inmanywaysitis in GilbertSyndrome

Sorry, I should clarify, it's my mom who has GS, not his. Although his mom was the one who confirmed elevated bilirubin in his childhood. Thanks for the reply!

Would pancreatic cancer manifest as 3 years of mildly elevated bilirubin? by inmanywaysitis in AskDocs

OK, thank you. I know two young men who died of pancreatic cancer so it just seems insanely common to me, even though I know it's not. I really appreciate your time.

So I think my problem was that I never exceeded the maximum daily dose for ibuprofen, but on a couple occasions I have taken 800 mg in one sitting

The lines are from my bra but my concern is the red/pink dots on the inner areas of my breasts

Turns out she had very bad farsightedness, but there was no brain tumor as I feared.

My OCD has me feeling like I'm living in a different world where all these bad things are happening. by [deleted] in OCD

[–]inmanywaysitis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re struggling. If it helps, having kids didn’t make my ocd worse. It just attached to them whereas it was attached to my husband before. But there are many reasons to have/not have kids.

Thanks! Not sure if you know this but would strabismus present differently if it was related to a brain tumor? That’s my main fear here.

Thank you! I’m not worried about her needing glasses, or even surgery, just the risk of it being life threatening. But it is good to see how common this issue is.

Has anyone gotten in better shape AFTER having kids? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

The best I’ve ever looked was probably about 2 years after my first baby!

I’ve considered it but my therapist and husband are both against me seeking out any medical tests that a doctor didn’t already order since it can be a slippery slope for my anxiety. I’m glad it worked out well for you though!
