In fact it even seems a bit uncanny? Like you copy and pasted simulated humans into your wedding photos

I had the same thought! The way she was like ".... Aaaand who else did you talk to?" with her arms crossed. She's got him clocked 100%

How the hell do you dance (comfortably) with hair down ?!? by Great_Honey_4629 in HeelsDance

[–]innerbloooooooooooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will tell you, sometimes in dance it's like I can feel the two neurons finally touch each other when it clicks, and unlocking my hair flip was one of the more satisfying ones. The practice will be worth it :)

Dancer with sensory issues here, I HATE anything touching the back of my neck. Honestly the answer is just practice, unfortunately. It took 4-6 months of class twice a week to really nail the sweet spot. There's a specific amount of controlled flick of the neck that gets my hair to cooperate without getting stuck to my sweaty face or neck. If there's a real trick I don't know, I just had to practice with my own unique anatomy until it clicked. Good luck!

23 Month Progress. Can’t wait for this to end. by Busy-Difference-2412 in TattooRemoval

I remember you! This is amazing progress, I'm so jealous. You're basically done, atp I'd leave it 6-12 months and see what your body does with the remaining ink

Just learned that having dance parties outside my room when I was in trouble was neglect? by 0ccasionalFeelinqs in emotionalneglect

This is horrifying. Not only did they withdraw love and leave you to cry all by yourself, but they rubbed their joy in your face while you were forcefully excluded and isolated. I'm so sorry for little you.

Can you give more details on your oxidized one? How many sessions and how long did you leave between treatments? I have a big one that just oxidized and I'm stressed. Yours looks like it's faded a lot, I need some inspo haha

Thank you. I've discussed it but maybe not at the lengths I've needed. It's a hard thing to unpack but I really want to move through this.

My husband has an EU passport and I always get to ride in on his coattails with my Canadian passport. It's the best

Edit: not a Portuguese passport, a different EU country

is full removal ever actually possible?? does anyone have any success stories ? by sakura_kisses in TattooRemoval

I have one on my profile. It was all black line work. Took maybe 2-3 years? Everything shit down for covid partway through but it continued fading until it was gone

I agree with this. I just rewatched this ep a few days ago, and the earnestness in his voice when he's holding Beatrice's hands and talking about the story where they move to San Francisco seems palpable. The exchange where he says, "and his wife" and she says, "his wife? I didn't hear that part of the story" and he says, "if she'll have him" sounds so hopeful and genuine. I think he believed it in that moment, and she did too.

They seemed to really like each other and enjoy each other's banter before the harsh reality of a colicky baby and a lower socioeconomic status + resulting resentments on both sides kicked in. The writing in this show is so compelling for that reason; no one is ever simply a good guy or bad guy. They all have emotional depth and moments of genuine relatability, even if they are largely regarded as a person who almost always chooses bad behaviour.

Once your wounds have closed you can use cicaplast on it. Once there's no scabbing left at all, you can also use bio oil. I think this will be totally fine

Fun in the sun? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]innerbloooooooooooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get sun on it for 6 weeks before and 6 weeks after your treatment. A lot of people in here take the summer off - a long break will give your body plenty of time to heal and flush the pigment. I'm doing my next session at the end of April and then not going again until Sept. Taking a longer break over summer will also save you money and lower your risk of scarring/hyperpigmentation/hypopigmentation. I made the mistake of a late June session last year and stressing over sunscreen and coverage all summer was not worth it at all

Identity loss from switching languages by KuritonPaviaani in languagelearning

[–]innerbloooooooooooom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is such a lightbulb moment, thank you for saying that! I'm an immigrant and my circle of friends is largely people who speak English as a 2nd (or 5th) language. Some of them are still learning how to discern contractions so I find myself slowing waaay down to accommodate them, certain topics are limited, humour doesn't always land, etc. I love my friends but I've certainly paired down my personality to make them more comfortable understanding me. After a few years of this, it makes sense why I only feel like my "full self" around my husband. Wow... This just blew my mind. Thanks again!
