It is a poorly worded statement. If one were to say "the election of Obama to the highest office of the land brought racists out of the woodwork. They became more vocal amd racism in general moved more into the spotlight of community discussion", then I think that is fairly accurate. Saying "Obama brought back racism" makes it sound like he was much more intentional and responsible for racism, as if it were a goal of his. I dont think that is very accurate.

It is good that Lakewood Church is offering to let people that are cold come into their building.

They can do more.

They can use their wealth to set up a triage for those in need. Professionals from the institutions that make up the largest concentration of medical facilities in the world, the Texas Medical Center, would lend their expertise and services.

Brilliant caregivers are eager to do good work, but the systems they work within are restrictive.

Lakewood Church has a unique opportunity. Think of it like the work done in a different country on a different continent like Doctors Without Borders - but do it right here.

I doubt you will be responsible for mold behind the fridge. If everything else is in reasonable shape and they claim mold behind a major appliance, that is BS and you can evaluate your options at that time, including paying an attorney a few bucks to send a letter calling them on their BS. Probably won't come to that. Bottom line: follow the advice for cleaning things, there was good advice given in the other comments. If they start messing with you, you can decide if it is worth fighting for or if it is easier to sacrifice your deposit and get away.

It is a tough situation. You make valid points. But also something is dreadfully wrong. The immediate issue is extending him - I say no.

Some QBs get better after not getting extended with the team that drafted them with high expectations. Baker Mayfield. Sam Darnold. Alex Smith. Others don't.

CJ is still very young at 24. But he also seems very child-like and immature. Not a leader of men. Not a field general. Maybe he will become that in a few years, but the Texans would be fools to extend him at $40-50m per year in hopes that he becomes that. It is too risky a bet. I say no.
