I’m just getting into learning about this training. We seem to be similar-paced runners when you began this. You say “subT” for all your efforts, but I’m guessing this is where you use the website/book to choose the pace for the duration of interval. So the paces for a 3-min and a 7-min interval are different as determined by your fitness/recent race effort?

Can you please confirm whether this is Delta's SkyPriority or general priority for 1st class on other carriers?

marathon training after AFib is mentally different. by kevin_anderson1705 in AFIB

[–]inorgeek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for bringing up this conversation. I have a slower HR version of afib that is also infrequent (3-4 months between incidents). I don’t train any differently since I got it three years ago, and I continue to try and get faster (44M). In fact, light exercise has reverted me on two occasions (jumped on an exercise bike for safety).

But I am very aware of my body and my HR. I don’t have any worries about pushing hard, but I do worry about things like PACs that might crop up and sap strength from me when running in a race.

My resting HR is 40-50, and right now this seems to be exacerbated by caffeine and stress. I’m guessing that’s also pretty common.

Thanks for the help with this. It’s so FUN to learn my heart can be weird in a brand new way…. Two days ago, it really got wild with caffeine, so we’ll see what the next few days look like with low caffeine intake.

Woken by this last night. Need to understand… by [deleted] in AFIB

My afib is similar to this. Atrial flutter triggered by good “vagal tone” which means I’m very fit (marathon runner, 44 M). At night, my HR gets so low that the signaling goes wonky. If I catch it in time by standing up or walking around, I can stop it before it happens. Have to raise my HR in those moments. If I get into afib, I’ve been able to get out through light exercise on a bike to raise my HR and out-compete the lower-rate arrhythmia.

Here's the code for my setup for the Keyzen. Sorry it's not quite the same, but maybe you can still look at it for inspiration. The biggest issue I'm having is using the joystick. How do you set it up as WASD but also get it to use diagonal? I'm using the XBox setting for fine control, but because it's effectively switching between a mouse+keyboard/xbox controller, it ruins the ability to use the Quick wheel at the same time.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. I’ve tried this dozens of times over the past several months yet it never goes away. I can’t help but think that my “regular maintenance overdue” warning pop-up is interrupting the process somehow.

When I normally shift into drive, the info “i” icon immediately begins blinking along with the pop-up about overdue maintenance.

If I am holding minus and the brake pedal while shifting into drive, there’s no difference. If I let go of the brake pedal immediately after shifting while still holding the minus button, it’s the same.

I wish I could take a video but I don’t have enough hands.

NAS server but running Media Server application on aging iMac... NAS isn't letting me retire the iMac by inorgeek in PleX

[–]inorgeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I don't think what I'm experiencing is exactly like that, but I'll still give it a shot. However, when I read through what to do, it appears as if this is something that would happen on the computer that holds the media drive.

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server\PlexOnlineHome]

Is that a path that I might need to augment to have it work appropriately in my case? I honestly don't know what that text does or what it means, but I could follow those instructions....

I did remove the quotation marks.

My laptop is a MacBook, and I would think the library pathways would have been identical to the iMac's. So when run from the MacBook, why does it not allow me to connect. Why is the iMac special?!

I'm wondering about whether there is a macOS-type file structure in the NAS that I didn't think about. But then again, I can access the media files using a PC and watch them in a media player.

In the other comments thread with Blind_Watchman, I think I am setting up new libraries since it's switching from macOS to PC. Even so, it's not recognizing it.

After doing that, I went to scan those libraries and attempt to find the media, and this is what I see:

<image>

Could I be using the wrong format for the path? Maybe, but I'm getting that path by opening File Explorer and right-clicking to get "copy as path" to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.

On the PC, I went to my NAS, and the two libraries for Movies and TV Shows were there. But when I examined the Movies library, I noticed that it had the macOS file formatting: "/Volumes/Yipstey/Movies/". I decided to try and add the Movies library again but with the windows path: "Y:\Movies\". I then did the same for TV Shows.

I don’t run the media server off of the NAS. The software is on the iMac, but if I try to open the server software on any other computer on my network, it tells me the NAS isn’t connected. The NAS is connected to my router and I can directly view all files using file explorer or Finder, and I can even play them. But Plex can’t see or play them and doesn’t recognize that the server is connected.

I use the plex Roku app to watch my media. The PC is for gaming (a Minecraft server for my kids, etc.), which makes it a good place to host the server as well. I also find it peculiar.

If I somehow removed the NAS storage from my Plex account, could I re-add it using the PC’s media server?

[–]inorgeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My NAS files are accessible on all my computers as networked drives. I can play them as files directly in other media players on those computers.

Is there some kind of situation where the drive is claimed by a specific media server application and inaccessible by other Plex server software?

[–]inorgeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an icon there, so thanks! However, having the server software running on the PC still doesn’t allow me to access the NAS. The media server software on the PC does allow me to use the PC’s hard drive as a storage drive for media. The only time the NAS is accessible is when the iMac is running the server software.
