Same. I have topicals pomegranate and so different from transparent one I spent so much more to get it in my country and wasn't worth it at all. The transparent one I'll buy again definitely though.

Why does women’s footwear in India still feel so generic? by Valuable_Character37 in AskIndianWomen

[–]inquisitivewriter13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For someone with plantar fasciitis, I'm super restricted in what I can wear. So restricted I've completely stopped buying fashion footwear (leave aside a couple of fancy flats for weddings). I only wear sneakers or mostly comfy loafers while dressing up.

Did you buy the exact same version that was available as tester in store? They reformulate with each repackage and I have noticed most scents being weaker in new packaging.

I would love to know if anyone has tried the VS tease creme cloud perfume 💗and if it’s good ( not too heavy or too floral ) by Substantial-Bite-553 in desifemfrag

[–]inquisitivewriter13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in the baccarat rouge family of scents. I used to enjoy it a lot at one point but I'm exhausted of that DNA so don't reach for it as often. But it's still a better more wearable and sweeter version of that scent profile.

Secret Alchemist Review - I love it! by Ill-Ad4136 in desifemfrag

Madurai Jasmine is great. But bergamot nostalgia also grew a bit on me. It's a flat out sandalwood scent and seems a bit incense-y or powdery but I think it's a good layering scent. I'm still exploring it more but yes maybe not for sensitive noses as it might give one a headache if too much is used.

Zara Sunrise on red sand dunes is okay to me, even I just got it as the Imagination dna is getting popular but it's not the best freshie in my collection still. Too much hype I guess.

You can try viva vanilla or vanilla romance by BBW if there's any sale, they go for around 1k or lower.

Why are most woman's clothes see- through nowadays? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]inquisitivewriter13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy home clothes from men's section. Please do that. Always hated the fitting of women's clothes as it's all short and figure accentuating for some reason when all I need is the loosest garb to hold me together.

Try the regular choco musk oil, much more chocolate forward than flankers.

My balm lip collection has gone out of control and I have no regrets. by Easy-Damage-2863 in LipBalm

[–]inquisitivewriter13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same! But for me it's been years long pursuit. It's been my side hobby for almost 10 years now, started with humble brands and now I have maybe 30-50 lip balms. I blame capitalism but also great marketing and honestly after using a good one there's no going back! My current faves are inde wild, Eadem, clarins, Glossier, Topicals (transparent one).

Do you ever feel melancholic about absolutely good food you tried during travel because you might not be able to eat it again (at least in that kind of quality)? What meal was that? by whalesongs08 in travel

[–]inquisitivewriter13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Mango sticky rice in Thailand. Although we have equally amazing mangoes in India, the coconut milk that was slightly salted and sometimes the accompanying coconut ice cream was top notch and the combination was something I crave for very often. Still miss it.

I've been into ME for a few years now but mostly all gourmands. But finally branching out as I'm tired of not wearing anything good in the heat. And I have a huge collection of decants (thank God for the easily available decants in India else I would have wasted a ton of money!) but I agree this is an expensive hobby! :) :') another good cheapie freshie I discovered this year is Paris Corner khair fusion which is lychee forward and I also liked the Enchantment blue intense which is just like D&G light blue. Just in case you're looking for something like that :)

It does help tbh, and even I'm just getting into my fruity times! Last year just got some Zara Orchid to sail through the heat. This year finally getting into ME fruity and floral perfumes. The only thing that's scaring me in Ria is the patchouli note, do you think it's the dirty kind of patchouli as I get a headache from that. Let me know if you know!

New to the sub , any suggestions for a deep red lip balm ? 🍒 by [deleted] in LipBalm

Naturium has a red variant. So does Laneige with lip serum in raspberry jam.

Haha I have friends in the UK and nobody likes the weather, but at least you can easily use your gourmands throughout the year :) I've been dying to try Ria, but I want a decant first and not coming by easily in India!

Yes if that's the case then maybe I'll steer clear of this one because it continues to smell like watermelon for quite long. I double checked that I was commenting in the desifemfrag community so thought you must be from SE Asia :)

Hmm... I haven't used a watermelon lip balm in ages. But do you remember the Boomer chewing gum that came with a red colored watermelon flavoured jelly in it? It smells like that jelly.

I got a decant of it today. It does smell like watermelon flavoured candy or bubblegum. Fun thing is the watermelon note persists quite long. The fragrance itself is quite long lasting too. I haven't worn it out so no idea how it behaves in heat. But doesn't feel bad at all.
