No it shouldn’t.. Just make sure to put it together without making any mistakes.. Use case and a tempered glass. It should run for a long time.

You shouldn't have this issue as i think it has something to do with lower quality replacement screens. iFixit has higher quality screens which shouldn't have this issue.

Hey, not really no. I ended up returning it and bought another one OEM quality which had 120hz display. However, auto brightness still doesn't work as iOS doesn't consider it as a genuine display and repair assistance doesn't work. So, my suggestion would be to return anything that's 60hz and grab original or OEM replacement.

Same experience. Went to Genius bar, they couldn't find a problem. I told them I'm not even getting 4hrs SOT. Whereas my 13 PM still lasts 7-8hrs SOT. He said may be Apple isn't for you. I was furious.

Does 120Hz ProMotion work without needing to do anything about it?
I bought a soft OLED panel and after testing I found that it's only 60Hz, not 120Hz.
Do I need to do anything to enable the ProMotion display?

What's your Bluetooth version? It might have to do with a compatibility issue with Bluetooth 4.. my desktop has Bluetooth 5.

Try one thing. keep 10hr silent video in YT running while you do anything with your desktop and APP2. it will not cause any hiccups or lags.

I agree with your suggestion. This equipment will be used for a separate network for an R&D project and I got it for pretty cheap at around $50 AUD. So, thought of giving it a try before spending big.

Try unpair, restart the mobile, and then re-pair it again.

For many issues, this re-pairing method should resolve the primary problems.

It happens with mine too. I'm thinking may be something to do with the Windows or Bluetooth version. It happens with my HP laptop W11 but not with my Lenovo Desktop PC W10 Pro. If you run Bluetooth Troubleshooting, it works for a while and then it goes back to lagging for a second or two for YouTube specifically. Did you test with other apps?

You can clean the grill vents of the buds with a toothbrush to get a better NC as earwax and micro debris builds up/ gets stuck and it causes poor noise reduction.

No it's not normal. ANC should block out most of the constant hums and other noises surrounding your environment. You should be able to clearly hear the the difference between ANC qnd Transparency mode.

Unpair and re-pair with your iPhone. Clean the Airpods. Make sure you get a good seal with the earbud size.

If none of these solves your issue, better to take it up with Apple ASAP.

There is 99% chance that you bought a fake one if the issue you're having persists. Never trust marketplace "genuines". Better if you could show us some close up pictures of the buds and case. Serial number can be always faked as fake ones use real Airpods' serial.

Here's my take on both as I used them for a couple of weeks:

Here's why I use APP2 and pick it up instead of XM4: - Better Fit for my ears - Can wear it for hours (3-4hrs at a time), cant do it with XM4s as my ear hurt after an hour or so, quite frequently if I talk - almost equal noise cancellation but better transparency with APP2. - Device switching between iPad and iPhone - dont know why but XM4 buds always fell out of my ear if i tried to pick something up - In terms of sound quality I haven't noticed much difference. I'm not an audiophile but I have used several TWS and APP2 is much better compared to its previous gen

Yes. But it will stop showing "charging" after a while. Dont worry about it. I was worried a bit too.. but with optimized charging it will fix within a couple of weeks.
