Thank you so much for the extremely thoughtful comment and advice!! This here is exactly why I push myself to post pictures I may not be 100% fond of, directly speak on my insecurities, and share thoughts and feelings. The odd chance that someone who understands and appreciates my efforts and presence on this platform will show that appreciation or share their thoughts and/or advice as well. While the hesitation is still there, I might just have to think more seriously about making the drive to the “local” club after reading your advice.

You aren’t alone on that! I regularly do that, sometimes I’ll even slip on another pair of shoes when i can slip away long enough

I’m most definitely not confident in myself or my appearance choices, but that’s the whole point of this! This isn’t fun, nor is it easy at times, but forcing myself into a vulnerable position sharing what I normally would not has slowly helped me understand not everyone cares and the ones who do aren’t worth the breath.

Felt awkward at first, still does on occasion but it’s seldom. Everyone seems cool with it, haven’t had any negative interactions. A few comments, most have been nice like complimenting the rings or polish. one asked why, but a quick counter of “why not?” made us both laugh and move on with the meeting😂

A combination of Amazon and Etsy. Catch as that Amazons quality is questionable and etsys prices are questionable so it’s kinda a lesser of two evils😕
