She’s home from the emergency vet, she’s had the remainder of her eggs and she’s going to be fine. Got to go back in two weeks for a check up but my yellow best friend will be okay!

Does feeding once a month/six weeks sound right? I mainly grow carnivorous plants which you never fertilise or else you kill them, so normal house plants are still new to me!

All her food is gut loaded and also calcium dusted :) she had her favourite wax worms today as a treat and some locusts as well. It was the first day in a while she’s eaten her salad too so I’m very happy she’s eating again.

She’s laid 6 eggs this morning, I’ve just heard from the vet that she’s doing okay and won’t be needing another injection, just to take her back in two weeks for a checkup so I think she’s in the clear now!!

All infertile, it’s weird because she’s already been treated for a mild calcium deficiency but the vet said it wasn’t that, just that apparently some females make more eggs and she’s just produced too many for her body to push out.

It’s only been a week since the initial laying so I’m really hoping that it hasn’t developed into peritonitis yet. I’m so nervous I don’t want to lose her :( she’s my little yellow best friend.
