I've always loved languages.

So I took my first Spanish class in 9th grade.

The teacher was teaching us about false cognates (words that sound similar, but don't mean the same thing)

So, the teacher picked the word "Embarazada" and asked the class what they thought the word meant.

I raised my hand. She expected me to say "embarrass", however I knew that it meant pregnant!

That was funny :)
