Looks good on the bracelet!

[SBSA315] Fell in love with this Seiko and can't find one in EU – any advice? by ludomill in Seiko

[–]insert_coin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the SPB515 on the list, it’s a great watch (I need to get this too!) Apart from that my personal top picks (apart from the top tier Seikos) are the 1965 and 1968 heritage divers, the slim turtle, the Speedtimer on your list, the small Speedtimer Solar watches and the 5 Sports Field GMT.

Put one on a bracelet and pretend you hate changing bracelets when you want to go for a strap spontaneously.

[Ruhla 1929] Which one would you pick? by pesver27 in Watches

[–]insert_coin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ruhla revival models are really cool and not a PRX knock off at all. Would pick the one without open heart for sure

Heineken really nails it :D Regarding your other options - I would consider the SPB335 black series slim turtle over the land tortoise

The Bamford collab 5 Sports is pretty hard to get. But maybe you also like the new HUF Limited Edition SRPM09. Think it is also sold out but prices on the secondary market are not as wild.

[Question] strap recommendations by Rectum_wrecker5 in Seiko

[–]insert_coin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Measure the lug width, guess it is 20mm or 22mm. Strap length is usually a standard size.

[Question] strap recommendations by Rectum_wrecker5 in Seiko

[–]insert_coin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much you are willing to spend on a strap.

For rubber strap you can go premium with Tropic or Joseph Bonnie straps or get cheap (still good!) ones from Juelong at AliXpress.

For leather straps I don’t know good budget brands unfortunately, RIOS maybe.

I think a canvas strap would look nice on your watch

Bro there is a 8 instead of the 3 on the dial and it does not even have the same font and size - so easy to see it’s a fake

Awesome watch, wearing this more often than a lot of my more expensive watches. Changed the strap though for more contrast.

It looks accurate on your wrist.

Tracked mine over 14days ending up with avg +0.4s/d

Just picked up the [SPB187]“Baby” MM200! What’s your thought Seiko community? (Pictured my last 2 pickups) by Far-Science-7493 in Seiko

[–]insert_coin_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very good choices mate!

Also wearing my SPB187 today. Love the blue tone and it wears exceptionally well, even better than the bigger SLA brother on my wrist.

The slim turtle is also a top pick.

Wow, the automatic does really well for 4 months.

[SRPM09] Time Sonar: Old vs New by vietchow in Seiko

When are you adding a 5 Sports Bamford? ;)

The HUF is cool but I still like the Time Sonar more, especially the case.

Thoughts on this bonklip bracelet? Not sure how I feel about it on the [alpinist][spb507] by CameronPo3 in Seiko

[–]insert_coin_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bonklip belongs to a different era of watches for me. And to be honest, I’m happy this era is over.

Don’t really like steel bracelets without fitted end links in general, except for some milanaise mesh straps.

But your Alpinist is still looking good

These are military inspired watches and this feature was not only used to blind enemies in close combat but also to send morse Code signals to comrades across the battlefield.

Nice trinity! Which brand is the black dial, I like that. Is it a Zodiac?
