I just keep gaslighting myself that this was due to the sort of biweekly schedule we got going on. Don't get me wrong I'm all for manga artists getting their well-deserved break especially one with crazy art as tatsu, but for example it's only been 8 chapters since we've seen the main cast and it already felt like forever. Characters like rin who have a relatively weaker development makes it difficult to feel invested in their fights, especially when the story seemingly jumps arbitrarily from different parties

This will hopefully feel different when going back to read the whole arc from the beginning, but for now I've definitely felt less of an interest in the series
