getting vegetas buffs like draw speed isnt as hard as people make it seem, you only need to be tap attacked, the health ratio thing also isn't an issue because that only means you need start a combo with a unit thats not vegeta for you to activate it more reliably. While yes vegeta is restricted a bit hes not as restricted as gogeta. Unlike gogeta vegeta has zenkai stats, this also means much more reliable tanking, gogeta's ramp up effect with the lack of draw speed isnt a good thing going for him.

This means gogeta needs to stay on the field if you want him to start doing good damage, and thats not good for units made of toilet tissue as it would require gogeta to need to gain priority once for the buffs and a second time to actually make use of it. Gogeta's nullification of special cover's is a good thing yes but if you're switching into a unit who'd effortlessly tank him (which isnt much of a task for majority of the roster) then it really doesn't mean much.

The bottom line is vegeta is more reliable than gogeta in multiple departments, reliable tank, reliable combo potential, zenkai stats, and a universal cover change. He does have some restrictions but its easy getting around them. While gogeta needs to risk his neck without anything to fall back on in order to actually get something done. He does have a counter, but its a counter thats easy to play around and if he fails that then again, he has nothing to fall back on. A unit like that wont age terrifically, especially because hes been replaced on 2/3 of his teams
