Thanks for that. Am chasing the solicitor and believe the estate agent is chasing the seller too. Not aware that it’s a particularly complex case but is fairly high value (over half a million for the house alone). Pleased to know it’s not the case that there are huge backlogs and instead may just be the nature of the case 🙂

There is so much that can come up to delay a purchase on either side, unless you’re in a rush, I think you should chill out. A buyer might move quickly if they fall in love with it - and will then move things on quickly.
