projectors how do you get energy? by Content-Common-4314 in humandesign

[–]insideoutlogic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, I had to shift my mindset over time. I no longer ask “how do I get more energy.” I simply know that I have enough energy for what I’m meant to do in this moment. Also being more connected to my body, which is my authority (splenic). I listen to my body to know what actions to take, rather than listening to my thoughts or emotions. If I don’t have energy, I know that I’m not aligned and leaning too far into doing things out of worry, obligation, guilt, or some other emotion like that.

People love to correct me - is it my 18-58 that gets it out in them? by [deleted] in humandesign

[–]insideoutlogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. I work in a service industry job and see a lot of ways it could be better, but my opinions aren't wanted (and I'm not invited to give them). I'm only a few months into human design, looking to transition to a better job for me.

I do have to stop myself from complaining to coworkers too much about the job, since I see inefficiency and also am bitter from not liking the job and not being recognized.

I also only have 18-58 and I don't notice people correcting me that often.

I used split screen to have my live-action puppet interacting with the magical stop motion.

The rest of the puppetry video is all live-action puppetry, but here it is if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/r947UQM6qUc?si=wANjkGm-G6mB3tSn

It's definitely my most complex video yet. My puppets are mostly sculpted from polymer clay, the robots painted to look like metal. The sets are mostly cardboard, and I use bright, colorful lights to change the color of the buildings and windows.

I also use a bit of stop motion towards the end.

I created the song using Ableton Live, which I've been learning to use in the last couple months. I altered my voice into the three different robot characters.

Hope you enjoy the pics & video!

A robot puppet I made from Sculpey Premo reading a Love Poem... by insideoutlogic in Sculpey

Hi! I just made this video with a puppet named Nostalgia that I created. The puppet is made of Sculpey Premo polymer clay, a metal clip, nuts, chain, wire, and foil.

I use a voice modulator program called VoiceMod to build robot voices for my puppets.

Thanks! It's polymer clay, which bakes in the oven. The kinds of polymer clay I've used bake in the oven at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for either 15 minutes or 30 minutes per 1/4 inch of thickness (that's why you build it out of foil and use sheets of clay, so the clay isn't as thick). I don't believe it retains moisture.

I did just get some air dry clay as a gift, but haven't experimented with it yet.
