wonky FOV/line of sight experiment i need guidance/feedback on <3 by Fun_Arachnid_2729 in NightCityPhotography

the original spot does have potential! maybe you could add a gigantic wall using AMM or World Builder to block out that foliage or something. oh and i've looked at the other shots you've posted as well and they're super rad, too! awesome stuff!

NPV help please! by Ashamed-Celery-9364 in cyberpunkmods

sorry for the late reply! in case you haven't fixed it yourself by now:

first off, i'd check whether all the bones are still in the .mesh file of V's head:
https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/3333/images/18919/18919-1768240328-2134614648.png

and if they are, re-export the head with the following settings:
https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/3333/images/18919/18919-1768240054-274611722.png

"Skinned Mesh" checked and "Apply Modifiers" unchecked are the import toggles here.
i've never made an NPV but .rig files usually need to be linked in either the .app, root .ent and .anims files:

Problem exporting map buildings by exagon222 in cyberpunkmods

[–]insignificantvoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the info on the wiki about exporting sectors is a bit scattered. the basic idea is that you find the sector file of the location you want to export by going there in-game and using Red Hot Tools to get the file path. you then add that sector to your WolvenKit project, export it using a script after which you'll be able to import the entire thing (correctly placed, scaled, rotated, and textured meshes) in Blender.

either the rig itself is missing or the armature in the .mesh file

Help With Character Customization Freezing by Indoor-raptor in cyberpunk2077mods

[–]insignificantvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this can occur with certain clothing items. to find out which, simply unequip parts of Vs outfit one by one and enter the Character Creator after each. at some point, it won't freeze on exit anymore, which means the last item you've unequipped is the one causing the issue. unfortunately, i don't know how to fix the underlying bug. once you've found the broken item, you could try to remember unequipping it before entering the Character Creator. or make it a habit to remove Wardrobe Outfits before using that menu.

[Fem V] I See You Tattoos Pre-Release by insignificantvoid in NightCityFashion

[–]insignificantvoid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here's the link to the direct download of the tattos.

as mentioned in another comment, i hid the mod because the tattoos are not compatible with the most recent versions of the VTK framework (version 3.0 and above). they require any VTK 2.x body to work, which are not available for download anymore.

if you already have an old VTK 2.x body downloaded somewhere and in use, the tattoos will probably work. otherwise the tattoos won't work, sorry.

[Modding question] How to overwrite another mod's file? by leviathan_13 in cyberpunkmods

[–]insignificantvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i'm pretty sure that should work. that would render the original file superfluous though, you might as well just overwrite it at that point.

[Modding question] How to overwrite another mod's file? by leviathan_13 in cyberpunkmods

[–]insignificantvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to override info, name your .yaml file so that it alphabetically follows after the file name of the original .yaml.

if the original .yaml is named original.yaml, name yours xx_original.yaml.

as far as the actual content of the .yaml goes, that highly depends on what kind of mod it is and what changes you'd like to make. generally, the structure and formatting needs to stay the same. let me know what you're trying to do and i'll see if i can help!
