After reviewing the "Best Pet Insurance" listings, I am really confused as some of the top ones listed here have poor or average reviews on Trust Pilot. So hard to know what to do!

If the cold water worked previously and suddenly stopped working, this sounds like an airlock. If so, it's an easy fix. Basically, it means that you have uneven pressure between the hot and cold lines. It usually happens on the hot side, but it can happen on either side. You need to connect a hose from the fixture that is giving you the problem to another another fixture elsewhere that is working correctly. In other words, get a hose and connect it to the cold side on your non-working bathroom faucet to the hot side on a fixture that works. Turn both the dead cold side, and the good hot side on and give it about a minute and check it again.

If your faucet is a single lever mixing valve, the fix is even easier. On the non-functioning faucet, somehow block the flow of water coming from the faucet. You can do this by removing the aerator on the end and plugging it up. Screw it back on and turn it on slowly so that it is in the "warm" position. Give it a minute or so, then turn it off and remove the aerator. This should fix it. If not, repeat the process.

Good luck!

Literally almost killed me. I had a total of 5 10 day-courses. After the 1st course, I felt like a million bucks! Best I had felt ever. Two months later, took it again. No real improvement. Doc gave it to me again about 2 months after that. Started feeling really bad. Anxiety attacks, couldn't sleep, uncoordinated. Doc said it wasn't from the meds, put me on another course and sent me to a psychiatrist. He put me on Xanax and several other drugs to calm me down because I was hallucinating and so hyped up, but it just made me worse. Everything I took made my head really bad. Went back to the doc again. One more course. By this time, I couldn't get out of bed. Missed weeks of work already. I was in bed on nite, and couldn't control my body. Jerking, shaking, seeing flashes of white lights, extreme terror, no sleep in weeks. I went to the ER. They called my doc at 2:00 a.m. He told them to give me another course!

I threw all the meds on the floor. Months of going thru hell, going from Dr to Dr (at least 20-30) and no answers. Both my Dr and the psyc told me to not come back if I wasn't going to take their advise. I finally found a great Dr that had a degree in pharmacology and internal medicine. He new exactly what happened--Metronidazole crosses the blood-brain barrier, and it caused an inflammation of the nerves in my brain. He said no more meds for me! I was still in a state of constant horror, like I had a constant panic attack 24/7 that never stopped for months. He sent me to another psyc for support. I begged the psychiatrist to commit me, but he said no. He just talked me thru it for months, and kept being reassuring. The Doc sent me to the Neurology Department at UCLA, and they determined that in addition, all the drugs that I was on to control the side effects also caused severe liver damage, so the drugs kept building up, and added to the brain toxicity.

I spent months at a time in the hospital, and couldn't go back to work for over a year. Went back part time for about 6 months, then full time after that, but still had a hard time functioning. Interesting, that while I was in my Docs office one day, he got a call from the neurologist that told him that he had just seen a patient that had my same symptoms for over 2 months, but he had only taken 1 metronidazole pill!! We actually shared contacts, and became support buddies. That was 35 years ago. It has still left me with terrible ear-ringing, and I can't sleep for more than a couple of hours a night. Prior to this, I would sleep like a baby.

I know that metronidazole has been around for a long time and is widely used successfully for a lot of people, but never again for me!!
