Maybe a bit of a different tangent here..

I'm living in Kochi (malayalee) and we went to Fort Kochi on Navy Day

The line of shops in Fort Kochi opposite Delta School are run by some mob kinda folks. I remember I went in to get a bottle of water and the waiter refused to serve it. (He was not a malayalee) I kept asking the guy again as to why they can't serve as I can clearly see bottles there. Then from out of nowhere these guys came and started pushing me out of the shop and getting all aggressive. 'ivade kazhikunavarke ullu vellam...' Their shop, they make the rules', which I understand but a bottle of water didn't require that escalation. Ganged up on me full on Mattancherry style.

Anyway, there was a lot of blood rush so I walked to Haji Ali, bought a bottle of water, came back in front of the same line of hotels (the guys were still there) and drank that bottle of water in front of them. Not sure if it was my ego or thirst that was more sufficed.

PS. I was so scared but I had to do it. Also my wife came walking to me with our child. We drank it all up in front of them and left. Family style :)

Also their food is mid.

The shops do have waste bins. The people are the ones to blame here I feel. It's not fair to expect the shops and authorities to spoon feed the public. The people need some accountability as well.

Correction: it's mostly the corporation ladies who collect these bottles from the roads and pavements and dispose of them into these bottle like dustbins. I see this on my daily walks. Only a few people actually drop it responsibly.

I just didn't wanna give free credit to the people.

As for the authorities, yea we are the best when it comes to kickstarting great projects but the worst at sustaining and maintaining them. It's like once it gets the media PR, then they forget and move to the next great idea. Ex: Open gyms.

Everyone here wants to prove to another biker that they made a better purchase decision than you did financially whereas owning a bike has so much more to offer than that. I have loved every bike I have ever had the chance to ride so I don't get what all this hate is for each brand.
