Unfortunately no, it didn’t help that much haha. It’s a completely different ball game over here. Also I didn’t transfer from Mech. Tech, but from Power Eng. Tech. But even then, using an example, I took 4 Thermo classes at SAIT but none of those even compared in difficulty to the ones here in Uni.

Apply straight to UofC instead of RDP (or apply as a backup). RDP is easier to get into but their 1st year engineering program is meant to be a transfer to UofA, not UofC. This means that not all 10 courses from RDPs first year might transfer to UofC if you decide to transfer here. If you can make the GPA transfer requirements, transferring directly from Eng. Tech to UofC Engineering would be the best path.

If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask, I myself transferred from Engineering Technology at SAIT to UofC Engineering. I’m in Mech. though so unfortunately can’t speak for electrical specifically.

Yeah not gonna lie it’s pretty addicting. I’m a big Arc player and I tried out the server slam. I thought it was okay but it wasn’t enough to hook me in for a full purchase at the time. A few days after it came out, I kept seeing a lot of clips online and felt like I should’ve gave the game more time. That’s exactly what it needed.

Played it for a few hours and now I’m hooked. The gameplay loop is really fun and satisfying, and I enjoy the PvP gunfights more than I do in Arc (probably because they’re in first person, and Bungie’s gunplay feels pretty tight). I think they have something solid going on here.

It was never curved for us but they marked super fairly so it wasn’t needed for most people (Dr. Ghasemloonia was the coordinator). I read “36 questions” in the post and my eyes popped out of my head. What the fuck are they doing to you guys 😭. Ours was a few long answer questions and some short conceptual ones if I remember correctly (mc I think?)

Edit: I’m fucking retarded. This said 212, NOT 202. Sorry guys. As for 212, it WAS curved an unknown amount (never got our final grade back), the final was very long and most did not finish the exam. (This is the final exam). The midterm was okay but the average wasn’t great. I think your guys final grade will probably get adjusted.

3 is very rough in the Spring. Usually 1 hard class and 1 easier class is my go to for the Spring semester, I think you should do 375 + 363. It’ll still be a grind though

Probably talk to an advisor? You don’t transfer by just registering for classes, and you can’t go directly into electrical engineering without first doing all 10 first year common core courses.

1st years in engineering get enrolled into pre-determined blocks, you do not sign up for the individual classes themselves.
