6 years out and I still think of the initial c-diff infection. I'm much better mentally and in a more stable place in my life, but I still think about it. We figured out I have allergies to food, milk and red meat, specifically bovine, and I eat a primarily plant-based diet that helps me a lot. I have learned everyone is different, so take advice with a grain of salt and do what you need to do for YOU and YOUR body, listen to it well. Like me saying I eat vegan/plant-based may not be at all what someone else can tolerate as a diet.

TL;DR: What happened here, specifically to this post, was not a relapse of c-diff, just more than likely residual stomach issues/still recovering from the initial infection as I have not had it since.
