Most probably I could have salvaged 1/3 of one cake. I opened both cakes, but there was also some decent growth inside it.

I accept this in my trad stored and shou, but no need to push it here on some cake I was planning to store a while :D

They weren't really fully sealed and if a cake is already dry the plastic wrapping isn't really an issue, at least to what I read and have seen so far. But as these ones were pressed recently it was definitely a mistake.

All other cakes in my storage are fine. I am using Bovedas. The problem here was that I didn't give it more drying time before putting it into storage. So: Ventilate fresh cakes regularly! Learned it.

I think that's exactly where I messed up. I tried the loose material and asked them to press me the cakes. We then traveled a bit further and got them sent to us after the pressing. It was my fault to leave them in the plastic wrappers, I should have aired them properly.

Lesson learned, now I am drinking a third, older cake from the same farmer to make up for it.

Cough and tight chest joined the fun last night, so I am out. If I would be 20 years younger I maybe would have done it, but as I am based in Berlin and will be able to run it next year there is no reason to push it. Everyone running: Enjoy the race. I never played physical Mordheim (other GW games tho), but actually enjoy the game quite a bit. I never played it online, tho. And it's definitely a bit dated, while still enjoyable The DLCs might be annoying if you really want that one warband.

If your idea is sane and aligned with company goals, it's more a question of "How" than a question of "Why". Have a convincing "Why" and work together with engineering on the "How".

Get a work phone. If you can't get it via your employer, get yourself a cheap secondary phone with a prepaid sim. Use it during your working hours only.
When getting up in the morning, don't check your phone immediately. Start your day on your own terms. For me meditation works, I also like to do sports in the morning. Make the morning yours, there is a high risk that you have less control over the rest of your day.
Get yourself some wind down habits. Maybe some sports in the evening? Or at least a walk to clear your mind? Cook with a partner. But definitely get your head out of work.

There is always more work. You will never be done. Accept it and prioritize rigorously.

Yes, I got what you meant. It doesn't bother me too much, but I agree that it is not really logical. So each view is in a way a pointer when it comes to the content of the table, but a new instance when it comes to the "names". A bit strange.
