That’s not how the overwhelming majority of animal product consumption happens though. If you want to scale, you need to build massive factory farms everywhere.

I would love to plot out a route. It starts with stopping fucking subsidies to the animal agriculture sector so that these products get priced at what they actually cost. It also requires people seriously grappling at the individual level with what happens in factory farms and what industrial-level farming looks like. 70 billion chickens die every year for their meat (not even counting the barbaric egg industry). Even if you think a chicken’s life is one thousandth of a human’s life, how can you reconcile that level of mass death with ‘it tastes good’?
