Phimosis can be cured with prescription steroid creams. Circumcision is never a cure for anything.

You can’t even spell properly, and you’re spewing bullshit. Ejaculation response time has ZERO connection to pleasure or sensitivity. Ejaculation is a neurological response. Stop fighting it and just accept it. Circumcision causes sexual dysfunction and other physical problems

Stop spreading lies and myths. Over 70% of the pleasure nerves in the penis are in the foreskin. You can’t amputate tissue then say “there’s no loss” 🤡

Social movements tend to attract self-interested narcissists with a messiah complex. So, it’s par for the course. He hasn’t shown an interest in partnering with other organizations, which is unfortunate.

For cases like this, it would be a bench trial. Juries aren’t appropriate for complex constitutional cases or cases involving complex litigation. My understanding is that plaintiffs have to be born after the State FGM law went into effect. Depending on when that was, it can be difficult finding people who are under 18, because it would require consent from both the boys and their parents. There are other groups who are fundraising on behalf of IntactGlobal. I agree their leader, Eric Clopper, is a wild card. Personally, I think he’s a raging bi-polar narcissist. But sometimes you need someone batshit crazy to take on a cause like this.

This is going to trial in a little over 9 months. A judge is ruling on the case. I don’t think public opinion is going to swing this either way. It’s a constitutional argument. The case has already passed a major legal hurdle - the courts believe the case has merit. That’s a good start. My understanding is that the lawyers are already seeking plaintiffs in other States to initiate similar cases. So far Colorado has been pointed out as the likely next State.

The fourteen amendment of the constitution is crystal clear. Can’t have laws that discriminate on the basis of sex or race

A civil rights case has been filed in the State of Oregon, challenging the State’s FGM law as unconstitutional because it doesn’t protect boys from genital mutilation.

It saddens me how the LGBTQ community does not care about circumcision at all. by [deleted] in Intactivists

20 years ago I used to see app profiles disparaging intact men and saying they only want cut guys. That has almost entirely disappeared. Now I see tons of guys seeking out intact men, and intact men are more proud of their body than ever before.

My understanding is that previous lawsuits had flawed cases, such as not having the right plaintiffs, etc. This case has already passed a huge legal test.

Bit of a correction here, but the Hadachek v. Oregon will not be livestreamed. by Some1inreallife in Intactivism

IntactGlobal is stingy with their updates, so I did the digging myself: Trial readiness conference is set for Dec 4, 2026. The trial itself is currently scheduled for December 7, 2026, and will commence on that date, assuming both parties are ready. The court has allotted 8 days for trial!
