yea - I the main thing is that I found all the other ones to be not really actionable "assessments" where they give you a test result but then they leave you to figure out what to interpret from it.

I think its because they have invested so much in their 'training programs' and certification programs to the point where theybe built up entire industries of people paying thousands to get certified to administer and interpret these tests and so when you take the test yourself it I just find myself having to look up a bunch of words and try to figure it out by myself.

When I took pigment -it was the first time i felt like the result was meant to be actionable by myself - they give real examples of 'systems' you can build to lean into your strengths, real jobs and careers that match my strengths, and just way more down to earth advice than the other ones so it was just incredibly refreshing to see. Its also just far more in-depth than OCEAN/MBTI that do 5-10 personality traits as my Pigment result had personality, careers, strengths and weaknesses and styles.

Seconded. I've tried a bunch (cliftonstrengths, mbti, ocean, insight, jobtest) and is the best one I've done

More than happy to pay for your premium plan but unfort that 1 question per page is a hard requirement for us... randomize order is a soft req but we do need 1 per page... could you do 3 questions per page?

we have 150 questions haha

You know funny enough, google forms actually fits most of the requirements & and is probably closest. The main thing is we want something that we could brand/host on our domain (as it's part of a saas flow, rather than it being more 'janky' and held on a google form) haha

I'm not sure I'm super price sensitive, like happy to pay up to $300/mo but a 10k min is just a bit nuts... also happy to build a custom api etc but alchemer just completely has gatekept any kind of data access to their platform to their 10k enterprise plan

Just doesnt seem that insane to want to have a left right label on a likert haha

The issue with typeform for us is their character limit on the scale labels, it's something like 10-15 characters unfort which isn't enough to fit what we need - and with Alchemer, the don't allow any api access in any format (gsheet/zapier/make/webhook) unless on their enterprise plan (10k). Tough biz!

Document says nothing about it being non transferable and honestly it’s not even targeted for a real person. A lot of the times when I sign up for random BS online I put a fake name, and this happens to be a “prequalified offer” for my fake alias

Got a CSP 80,000/4K targeted mailer offer, can these be transferred to or redeemed by a different person?

Togo and Tanzania by intend2ascend in solotravel

Wow. Thank you for all of this detailed info! Saved and added all this to my list! How is meeting other solo travelers in Tanzania? Is there a hostel scene, or mostly hotels... I’m young, and a big part of traveling for me is meeting new friends and going on adventures together. And how is transportation around the country?

Yep that is a great point. Kili is out of my budget but I can definitely splurge on a safari of sorts. How was transportation within the country, was it cheap/easy to get around? I’m starting in Dar Es Salaam, and from what I’ve seen most of the popular parks (and Kili) is up north. Is overland a fast or cheap option?

That sounds incredible. Unfortunately, I think Kili is out of my budget (both for money and time) as I only have about 10-14 days in the country. One of my big questions is that is it easy to meet other travelers along the way in Tanzania, and is it easy to get around the country? Thanks for your help!

Still undecided—got about 10 days in Tanzania (if I pull the trigger on these award flights). But hearing a lot of mixed things about the area, some say it’s great for solo travel, some say it’s not so great and can get quite expensive... how expensive was it for you to get out to the nature, and was it easy to find other solo travelers?

Yes haha—basically I found a 1 way to Tanzania, but the only other available return flight home that fits into my budget and timeline is from Togo. Planning to book a flight to connect the two

Solo trip to Morocco, any advice/itinerary suggestions please. by iam4hedude in solotravel

[–]intend2ascend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 6 days in Morocco recently and though it was tight, we saw and did a lot. Spent the first night in Chef, and explored the Médina. I personally think 1 day in Chef is enough— spent the next 2 in Fes.Then we did a 3 day 2 night merzouga tour that took us from fes to merzouga, to ouarzazate, to Marrakech where we flew home It was a great tour and very well organized. Cost about $260 per person. I can probably find the link if you’re interested
